I am an every day Starbucks customer. In general, select Starbucks food and beverages are excellent. This review is about what I like and order and how this location gets it wrong almost every single time. You cannot get coffee here. Even the dark roast tastes like coffee flavored water. It doesn’t even smell right. In an oven system that seems fool proof, apparently not. Burned egg bites. Cold burned egg bites. Every single time I order a seasonal latte or espresso beverage it is nearly unflavored, like someone decided let’s see the least amount of flavoring we can add and still get away with an eggnog, pistachio, etc beverage. If you like spending money and getting bad coffee, food and service, this is your place. In addition to hiring people not qualified to work putting cotton in pill bottles, they do not understand the concept of cleaning and this place is Opa Locka McDonald’s clean (which is probably an insult to Opa Locka McDonalds). Close this one down.

Ruby in the drive thru today was awesome! I was nervous because I did a mobile order right after initially placing an order. I didn’t want to hold up the drive thru and she informed me that everything will be okay. My brown sugar oatmilk drink has been very good lately too.

I’ve been ordering the same drink for a long time — Venti Oatmilk Shaken Espresso with light ice. Every other Starbucks I’ve been to has always made it correctly.
Today, I was told that if I want light ice, I will get “space in the cup” and they refused to adjust the drink unless I paid extra. This is extremely misleading, because they are charging for a full drink, but then intentionally giving you less product if you ask for less ice.
That is not “policy” — that is scamming customers and hoping they won’t notice.
This will be my last time ordering from this location. If a business needs to cut corners on an iced drink to save a few cents, it says everything about their integrity.

Worst customer service ever! The manager with the black glasses and black hair has the nastiest attitude ever! Went into get a cinnamon pull apart and it was raw so I went back to the store to get another 1 she remade it and never said sorry for the inconvenience or nothing. I then confronted her about her not even apologizing for the inconvenience and she said she doesn’t make the food and I told her I understand that but at least you can do is apologize for the inconvenience and me having to come back to the store so you guys can remake the food that I purchased. She has a very nasty attitude and should not be a manager. May god bless her.

I placed a mobile order and went through the drive-through to pick it up. When I arrived, I was greeted and told that next time I should give them more time to prepare my drink. Then, when I got to the window, my drink was not even prepared correctly. I went inside to speak with the manager, and she repeated the same message—that I need to give them more time.
As a customer spending nearly $10 for a drink, I don’t believe it’s appropriate to be told what I need to do differently, especially when the expectation is that mobile orders will be prepared in a timely and accurate manner. I’ve always enjoyed Starbucks because of the excellent customer service and consistency, and at most locations—even when busy—the drinks are prepared correctly and the staff are courteous. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling dismissed and turned off.
Going forward, I’ll be purchasing my drinks at the Starbucks inside Target right behind the store instead. This experience was completely unacceptable.
