Pretty stupid considering the economy is going to tank in Q1 of 2026, and consumers will be VERY selective where we spend our money.
Starbucks has made it clear. Customers aren’t valued by them. Soon… Starbucks won’t have any, or VERY few customers.
I said “Yes my sandwich” and she walked around, found it in the back counter against the wall and said “Here ya go”. Again, no other display of hospitality. I’d have gotten better service at Mcdonalds :/
For those who have a few minutes
⭐Story time⭐
Embarking on a journey to the realm of the absurd, where logic bends and humor reigns, let’s elevate this narrative to the heights of Mount Ridiculous. Imagine, if you will, a realm where Starbucks has been commandeered by none other than the mischievous spirit of Angelica Pickles, but with a twist. This Angelica, let’s dub him “Sir Angelico,” rules his drive-thru kingdom with the capricious whim of a cartoon overlord.
Our tale begins on a fateful afternoon, as our valiant heroes, a thirsty couple in search of refreshment, approach the fortress of Sir Angelico. Their quest: a simple potion of mango dragon fruit lemonade, untouched by the icy fingers of frost. A request so straightforward, one might think it easier than finding a happy toddler at naptime.
But lo! Upon reaching the window of whimsy, our heroes are met not by the ally they sought, but by a foe cloaked in the guise of customer service. Sir Angelico, whose mood swings like a pendulum in a clockmaker’s fever dream, had decided that day that ice was the elixir of life, and all beverages should be more ice than drink, as if preparing for a polar bear’s cocktail party.
Upon receiving this arctic abomination, our heroes’ plea for a correction was met not with the grace of a gentle knight but with the huffiness of a cat disturbed from its sunbeam slumber. Sir Angelico, taking a breath so deep it could’ve inflated a hot air balloon, declared with the air of someone bestowing a great and unasked-for wisdom, “Next time, just let us know,” as if their request had been as complex as a dragon’s riddle.
The absurdity of the situation was not lost on our adventurers. For in their hands, they held not just a beverage, but a symbol of comedic tragedy, a testament to the icy heart of Sir Angelico’s frosty empire. And as they drove away, their quest unfulfilled, they couldn’t help but laugh at the absurdity of it all, knowing that in the grand saga of drive-thru encounters, this chapter would be remembered not with frustration, but with the fondness of a tale well told at parties, a story of ice, misunderstanding, and the legendary Sir Angelico of the Starbucks realm.
