5 stars for customer service, 4 stars for food and the company in general
It’s been a long time since I’ve been able to leave a glowing review for a Starbucks location. I have not been frequenting Starbucks lately. I definitely had issues with customer service, not so much each location, but definitely not a stellar experience. I walked in this Starbucks to get a very simple drink this morning, just some hot tea, first of all it’s fully staffed, so there were several people moving about behind the back getting the drinks out for the long line of customers that were in drive-thru. BTW the line moved quickly, obviously because they had a full staff inside. Anyways, I was greeted when I came in by more than one person, when the young lady was making my order another young lady had come over to ask what she could get for me, the assistant manager was physically outside cleaning the baseboards of the windows as well as the windows, as other people were coming in I continuously heard warm welcomes. This location is clean, organized, friendly, it definitely puts me in the feel of the original Starbucks experience where you felt like you wanted to take a seat and enjoy your drink or snack instead of grabbing it to go. this location is further from my home but when I’m over in this area and I am willing to support a Starbucks location, this one will be at the top of my list.

I go here daily! The baristas know me by name before I even say anything at the speaker lol. I feel like family! Everyone is so friendly and kind.
My drinks are always consistent and taste great, like the quality you’d expect from Starbucks! The food, when I get it, is always warm and fresh.
The outside of the store is always clean and nice. The inside is warm and welcoming and the smell of freshly brewed coffee is pleasant. I love the little notes I get on my coffee every morning. It’s the nice little touch to remind me there is something good in a sometimes not so kind world.

I have been a regular at Starbucks Lake Dow since they first opened. This Starbucks is truly one of the best I have been to, and that is saying a lot.
They have GREAT customer service and they keep the same employees for long periods of time. This is something that I am grateful for as a customer of the franchise, since this leads to consistent results & friendly employees.
They are ALWAYS working and you will never see any laziness in this location. The drinks are always made well too.

Color me surprised! This Starbucks was beautiful inside with plenty of comfortable seating. Every employee shouted, “Welcome to Starbucks!” We felt welcome.
The woman behind the counter who took my order must’ve been training because she had to ask for help a couple of times, but she was communicative and was eventually able to process my coupon. ($3 medium beverage – what’s up!!) I did have to check and realized she inputted one drink as something else, but it was fine. It got fixed before there had to be some fumbling to correct it or waste anything (maybe shouldn’t have said anything – would’ve saved me money ).
The young woman making the drinks was super nice and called out drinks as she was making them. I heard her be very friendly with several customers while we sat and enjoyed our beverages.
I didn’t use the restroom, but my family did. They said the bathroom was clean but the handwashing station was poorly configured. The hand dryer was at a place that was triggered while washing hands and sprayed the water being used to rinse hands all over the place. Also, no paper towels… I get that it saves money and hopefully reduces waste, but it does cause more germs to spread. I like when there’s a choice – where you can maybe do a little half and half (heh – half and half – coffee – get it??) and use less paper towels and use a dryer after. Anyway – I digress.
All in all, a really pleasant surprise on the atmosphere and quality of service, and the comfort and familiarity of standard Starbucks fare is nice. (Used my coupon to try the Pistachio Cream Cold Brew – it was so good!) It was especially great to stumble on this Starbucks on a little road trip since the store by us was just remodeled to a less welcoming space. For this one, I’d say don’t change a thing!!

Personally this Starbucks is very slow for them to make the drinks wrong. If you’re going to take forever making a drink at least get it right.
We ordered a venti Carmel Ribbon Crunch Frappuccino and they gave us a grande. I said that was supposed to be a venti, they literally poured the grande into a venti cup… and my husband got 4 extra pumps of sweetener. The flavor is completely wrong. I’ll let the picture speak for itself.

If you only want half of your drink, this is the place to go. Ordered 3 venti lattes and cups were half full. It was a lukewarm grande in a venti cup. Unfortunately, someone else picked up my order for me because I would have known as soon as I lifted the cup. Last two trips to this location have also resulted in extremely long wait times. This is the closest location to my home, but I won’t go here again. For $20, I would like a full cup and a hot beverage.

A clean and relaxing atmosphere where all employees were friendly and polite allowed me and another guest to sit and work on a project while drinking great coffee. Any business whose action and environment shows a concern for customer satisfaction always gets my attention.

I’ve been going to this Starbucks location for three years now, and the morning crew’s service has always been amazing. Every day, they greet me by my first name, making my mornings feel special. But today, I had to take a moment to write this because they went above and beyond. One of the baristas took the time to write a thoughtful message on my cup, and that small gesture truly made my day.
Their kindness and dedication make every visit an enjoyable experience. Definitely a well-deserved five stars!
