Was really excited about this new location as a very convenient place to hold meetings. Went in for the first time and the chemical smell was almost unbearable. Decided to stay anyway and wait for the person I was meeting. I tried to get a water while I waited, but was told I could not get a water unless I ordered something and that I was also not welcome to be in the “cafeteria” seating area without ordering something.

The service wasn’t bad, but I got very sick from drinking an ice blended Carmel frap at this location. It tasted a little off, but I ordered from the drive through and didn’t taste the drink until I was on my way on Old Spartanburg. Getting sick always gets a one-star review in my book. I wanna start this off by saying I am not the one to post negative reviews unless absolutely necessary, but there are two things that I want to point out at this location. First, How is it that I order the same exact coffee every single day at this location and it taste different every single time?. Second, The service is absolutely terrible. The only reason I gave it two stars is because there is one lady and I can’t remember her name, but she is the sweetest thing ever and I’ve never had an issue with her and there’s one man that makes the coffee that I get and he’s the only one that makes it taste the same every time he makes it as for everyone else in the store they’re absolutely rude and beyond sensitive. For example, I went through the drive-through this morning and somebody was on the speaker and I asked a question but I was trying to reiterate my question and every other word I said they interrupted me so I just said very calmly in the same tone that I had since the moment I got to the window“I was still talking “they gave the headset to their manager when I got to the window and I asked if he was the one that took my order and he goes “no I took over because of the comment that was made at the speaker “I wasn’t rude at all. That was just a very sensitive moment for them I guess anyways I’m just super disappointed with this location and I will just continue to go to my Wade Hampton location. The only reason I dealt with this Starbucks on old Spartanburg Road for so long is because it’s convenient for my travels, but I will be more than happy to go out of my way to get my coffee from now on

Just ordered here for the first time and this is a really nice location. There’s a large dining area, staff is friendly, the breakfast and cold brew was really good. Can’t wait to come back and try some of the new fall menu items.
