Best Starbucks on the planet. My wife and I show up, the baristas on the drive thru address us by name and want to know if we want our usual. Today it was a different one and she (through no fault of her own) had a hard time understanding our order. Another barista heard this, leaned in, and said over the drive thru speaker “we got you guys”. Best Starbucks on the planet.

My oldest turned 13 today and she wanted Starbucks before school. So we woke up 30 mins early to make the trip on her special day. Get to Starbucks and ordered for me and my 2 daughters and at the window to pay I noticed I forgot my wallet at the house. The girl at the window with no hesitation said don’t worry about it and gave us are order for free. An act of kindness that made my daughter’s birthday morning that more special. I wish I would have got the girls name but just know how grateful I am that you did that.

I have been coming to this Starbucks since it opened and I haven’t had any issues. The workers are great and have amazing customer service skills. The ambiance is great and student friendly. The food was made perfectly and the workers recommended their seasonal ideas and suggested items that would better our order. Definitely glad that they opened up this store in this side of town.

On the morning of September 25,2024 I visited Starbucks, the store was located in Sumter, SC. As I browsed the menu for options I was helped by the staff. Upon making a decision I decided to order an iced coffee, strawberry Frappuccino, a blueberry muffin, and cake pops. The assortment of food and drinks are very good. Starting with the drinks, the iced coffee was strong and very creamy with caramel notes. It was the perfect amount of sweetness to the coffee. The strawberry Frappuccino was a nice light cold option for something refreshing. The strawberry blend with the whipped cream topping gave it such a great texture. It also was perfectly sweet, the strawberry puree on the cup was a pleasant surprise. I thought it would have been overly sweet but it was great. Definitely would recommend this for a child. Next, the baked goods that I tried all had a flavor of their own. The blueberry muffin was okay, it was moist but very crumbly with the crumb topping. As I came to the end of the muffin, it seemed rather dry. I don’t know if it was heated too long or the muffin itself wasn’t new. The cake pops were good, although the vanilla flavor inside was a bit gummy. I was a bit upset that both the birthday cake and raccoon cake pops were just a vanilla base. I did like the texture of how thin the buttercream was on the outer part of the cake pop. If I had to order again I would choose the birthday cake pop because of the sprinkles on it gave it a little crunch. I was overall pleased with everything I ordered. Next, I hope to order more of the savory part of the menu. The atmosphere was very inviting, and so were not only the workers but the customers as well. I love that the store was very clean and organized.

I frequently go to the location off broad street where it’s usually amazing service and good coffee. My family and I came to this location because it’s near our house. Great people and good customer service for the most part. But our usual frappe was nothing but ice and whip cream. No flavor what so ever. Very disappointing and expensive. There was a very long line so I understand the urge to get orders out. But I will say, always choose QUALITY.
