I’m always in the Valley View Starbucks getting my usual—literally everyone knows me and my kids by our first names. I love the staff there. It’s so funny because this Starbucks really feels like family.
I stopped in this morning while watching my brother, Pastor Tim, speak online at Growth Church in Fredericksburg, Virginia, and it was so cool to share that moment with them.

Mobile order, 2 Venti ice coffee, and cake pop, Both drinks where made just right and you can’t get cake pops wrong. It’s annoying you spend 3.24$ on one and they put 2 in one bag, the entrance is in the back, facing the road . You have inside and outside seating. The outside seating is right by the drive thru, so you constantly have cars passing while you are trying to enjoy your coffee . Clean bathrooms , good spot for take out .

Ordered off the app to the closest valley view store according to the app. Arrived to pick up my coffee where they advised they don’t use the Starbucks app and it was a different store and they couldn’t honor my order. I have 2 younger kids I’m not taking back out to the truck to get buckled to go get a coffee they couldn’t honor easily honor. Pathetic excuse for service and common sense.

Their management team is awful. Ashley and her manager denied me a remake on my coffee and I’m a veteran. She tried to tell me that the rules changed for their coffee remakes but but I’m sure that’s a lie because when I called before I would have been told that information and I was not. The coffee was awful so I tried to get a remake on it and I was denied I would not recommend this Starbucks to anyone… they definitely don’t care about veterans!!!!!!!

What has happened to Starbucks? I use to spend $2500/yr on Starbucks coffee and was always looking forward to my next Starbucks experience. Now, not so much. For the past 6+ years, I’ve seen such a decline in the quality of service from years ago. Being in the customer service industry for over 35 years, it just tears me up to see such a disregard for the customer experience and a commitment to serving the customer.
Case in point, this Starbucks location is (what I would presume), not up to a standard. From the staff dressed in attire that presents a disheveled and non professional appearance, with a lack of providing the product the customer asks for (asked for a bold coffee and they said they were out but had medium or light brew available), to how the main public area isn’t clean or maintained, and the restrooms being unkept, etc. The Starbucks experience is a true disappointment all around (not only this store but i see this throughout the chain). I suppose this is the result of accepting mediocrity.

I stopped by the drive thru this afternoon when I was checking in. The guy who was there at 6 pm at the window didn’t want to take my order and wasn’t responding to the speakerphone. So I went to the window and had to order my next drink at the window. He warned me that next time I had to do it on the speakerphone, but when I was on the speakerphone, he didn’t want to serve me. Finally, when I placed my order, he left a message on the glasses saying unpleasant things. He thought that because we were Latino, I wouldn’t understand. Maybe the truth is that the service was terrible. They should have better customer service.

I’m not a fan of this location. The girl at the drive-thru asked if I wanted to leave a tip and it comes off as pushy and unprofessional. I don’t mind tipping for certain things and I do occasionally leave tips for Starbucks but this came off as really rude. I haven’t had a problem before at this location but I don’t plan on coming back.
