I’ve had to call cooperate 3x at this location for a refund – not for the wrong product or poorly crafted product (I quietly accept those disappointments) – but because they are CLOSED during business hours and are still accepting mobile orders (money)!
Poorly crafted or just the wrong beverage is a problem – extremely long and slow drive-thru is a regular occurrence. I tend to avoid this location, and when I think, let me give them a try – Colonial Heights Starbucks never fails to disappoint!

They really turned around this location recently! It has new management and it seems they are working hard to address staffing shortages! My order was made quickly and was on point.

I stopped in today during a very busy rush. The manager, Keymia, stayed professional, kind, and went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. It is rare to find such genuine hospitality. This location has a great atmosphere and the staff really cares about their customers. Thank you for making my morning so much better!!

OMG these poor workers!!! Today was so overwhelming for me to watch. It looked as though they only had one working blender! How come they don’t at least four blenders in case one or two go down. They were so busy and customers were getting frustrated but the staff were polite and doing their best to stay positive. Tim called for my order, he made sure I had everything I needed and was very polite, he has provided amazing service!!
And I forgot to comment the other day Jay made my coffee and it was really good!

A good mixture of quaint, progressive, and relaxing. If you stay in there long enough, you might even be given something free due to forgotten pick-up order or just the staff being generous. Good music and vibes, clean bathrooms, and nice place to people watch while you get work done.

The people who work here are great – very friendly and I believe they care about the customers.
That said, the store is often unexpectedly closed. It happens often enough that I have lost confidence in getting my morning coffee here (takes 20 minutes to drive into town).
If it doesn’t improve, I fear the new 7 Brew will take a lot of their business.

This location has gone downhill quickly. Our last 2 visits have been horrible. This morning, during normal hours, the inside of this location was closed. We sat in line for 30 min, barely moving, behind about 20 cars. We left, and I contacted the store for a refund of my mobile order. The young lady was less than friendly, and advised me the only way to get a refund was to come back in the store. I stated that the store is closed, she said well you can come through the drive thru. Needless to say, a representative via chat on the app gave me a refund and my stars back within 2 minutes. I hope management is reading these reviews. We will not be back.

I placed a mobile order today and when I got there, the drive-through line was out of control. I didn’t even realize it was free cup day or whatever they’re doing. I literally just wanted my coffee and breakfast. I didn’t even order a holiday drink. I had selected pick up in store. I went to walk into the café and a barista opened the door and said they were closing the café. I said but I have a mobile order. It said it would be ready at 10:39 That was 10 minutes ago she told me I would have to get on the drive-through line if I wanted my order. I did not have the time to wait on a 20+ car drive-through line. There’s a reason I ordered ahead so I didn’t have to wait. I drove out of my way for nothing and I left because I didn’t have time to wait on a drive-through line that wasn’t moving now I can’t get a hold of Starbucks to even get a refund terrible customer service.

This starbucks needs to be demolished. It’s never open and apparently the workers don’t show up half the time and when it is open, half of everything is sold out. Don’t ever order ahead because youre guaranteed to be waiting at least 20 mins plus longer than the stated time. You get your drink faster going through drive thru. I really hope 7 brew takes most of your buisness because this location deserves none. Litterally the worst starbucks location I’ve ever been too multiple times and it never gets better. I’m really glad other ppl are posting how bad this location is. Maybe they’ll finally do something about it
