Unfortunately, it’s been a consistently disappointing experience for me at this Starbucks. The drive thru and in store lines move incredibly slow, even during times that don’t seem busy. Why is it a 16-20 minute wait on a Tuesday morning? On top of that, my drinks are often inconsistent or just not made well, the coffee tastes burnt or watery. Making the long wait even more frustrating.

Top tier Starbucks location. Ended up stopping here about 6am on a Monday. After a lo g holiday weekend and the barista was so friendly and bubbly at the drive thru window. She even wrote a cute saying on my cup, not my name. I went back the next day since I was in the area for a few days and it was the same vibe. This is by far my favorite Starbucks location in the area. I honestly never knew they opened as early as they do (4:30am)

I’m not exaggerating when I say this is the slowest Starbucks I’ve ever been to. It’s not just a fluke either, it’s consistently SLOW! Drive thru, pick up, mobile order, it does not matter. My kids are pretty patient but get fussy waiting in this line because it literally takes 20+ min to get through the drive thru. Hopefully
enough reviews like this means management will take it seriously. I’m going to be taking my business elsewhere from here on out

(I waited almost 30 minutes once AT THE WINDOW with no one else in line)
It unfortunately is the closest to my house so I’m here frequently; the baristas are lovely and I can tell they are doing their best, there’s just not enough staff to accommodate the amount of customers (not their fault)
Do not come here if you are in a rush, you can pretty much count on the wait being 20+ minutes, in drive thru and in store

This is easily and consistently the slowest Starbucks I’ve ever experienced. It is the closest to my house, so I end up here more than I’d like, considering I’ve never had a mobile order available for me (in store or drive thru) without waiting at least 10 minutes longer than the wait time given on the app. The drinks are fine, but often sloppy or wrong. I’ve regularly just left with my drink made incorrectly (iced when I asked for hot, none of the syrups I ordered included even if it was straight from the menu, etc.), just because I don’t have an additional 20 minutes to get someone to make what I actually ordered. It’s fine if you’re planning to spend your afternoon sitting and don’t mind waiting. If you need to get a coffee and go in less than 30 minutes, it’s worth driving over to Regency

This has got to be the slowest Starbucks in Richmond! No matter if it’s a mobile order, in-person order, drive thru, inside pickup, I am always waiting an incredibly long time. I typically mobile order & I am often waiting at LEAST 10 minutes longer than my expected pickup time (which was already 10-12 minutes). Unfortunately it’s right next to my house, but I often go out of my way to Dunkin’ just to save myself the frustration.

I frequent many Starbucks in the area to read and study, but the Gaskins & Gayton store is not one of my usuals. I was in the area, so stopped there. I was disappointed in the cleanliness of the place. While there weren’t many patrons in the store at the time of my visit, there were several tables and benches covered in crumbs and trash and food on the floor. I had to wipe down the table and bench seat before I sat down. The mid-day sun was beaming in through the large windows, but the pull cord for the blinds near the table I was at was broken so the blind could not be lowered making it hot and difficult to see the screen on my laptop. I did not stay long and likely won’t go back to that location to sit and work/read.

If I could give a zero I would first of all my danish was cold. Then I get down the street my drink was wrong. You ask was the sticker right yes it was but the tea bags did not match. When I went back instead of them admitting the mistake they gave me a story about how they changed the honey citrus tea. So I goes to another Starbucks just because and of course to my surprise nothing had changed. I feel better just had to get that out

I come here literally every day before I go into work. I usually place a mobile order and it’s never been late except for this morning. This morning I put my order in at 6:44 and the app said 4-7 minutes with estimated pickup at 6:53. Walked in at 6:53 and my drink hadn’t even been started and my oatmeal didn’t come with everything I ordered with it but I didn’t realize until I got to work. I had to ask if my drink had been started and when she said no, I just told her she didn’t have to make it because I had to go to work and didn’t have time to wait. She acted stunned that I didn’t wanna wait for a drink that already had 10 minutes to be made when there was only one person in the drive through. I’m gonna keep coming here but that basically made me out of almost $17. It shouldn’t take that long for one drink when there’s basically nobody else there.

Update. I went to eat my oatmeal once I got to work, but the oatmeal was dry and hadn’t even been prepared even though I selected to prepare it with 2% milk so I’m not sure what’s going on but the two people working today had no clue what was going on either
