My husband and I love going here when we walk around UVA and the corner. The staff here are extremely nice and they continuously make the best Starbucks in town. They take the time to make sure the drinks are made correctly and well, and it shows. It’s always a pleasure going here

Wow, what a unique location. This Starbucks does a great job of sticking true to the atmosphere of the town. The building and space seems not to have been modified or retrofitted much at all, leaving much of the original charm.
Large seating area upstairs, with a fireplace and many seating areas. I can’t say much for the crowd, or peak times since this was a short visit, but i was truly impressed. Probably my favorite Starbucks among the hundred or so I’ve visited!

The coolest thing about this store is the display of flys and nats inside the case of mummified food. Someone tell Gary Nader ll to take a bow he has single handedly destroyed what use to be the Flagship store of our town. Here’s to hoping they do better with the 5th Street location.

The cashier is ridiculous. I ordered an ice coffee. He asked my name, so I told him “Tony” and spelled it. The girl who prepared the coffee and put it on the counter did not shout my name but rather had an awkward smile on her face. I did not notice the name on the tag until I drove away from the shop. He put “Yony” on it. This is the rudest Starbucks ever. I will report it to their store manager and CEO.

I stopped to grab two teas and two sandwiches to have on our cross country travels. There was no parking available so I had to be dropped off. There was nothing to eat at all, so I ordered the two teas with no water added to them and went to use the restroom. It was upstairs amongst the homeless camped out. That was not an issue, however even though the teas clearly said “no water” on them, the barista water them down. We had to dump them. Aside from using restroom, the stop was futile and expensive.

I was here on a Sunday afternoon this summer and the service was outstanding. Cashier was a very friendly guy and the barista did her job incredibly fast. Can’t remember their names but management should be proud of their team.
