Starbucks, 10930 Fairfax
Very polite and professional staff, with enough regular customers that they’re greeted by name. I’m generally not inclined to visit Starbucks, but this location may change my mind.
The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, clean tables, comfortable seating, and soft background music that encourages conversation rather than competes with it. Even during the morning rush, the team stays cheerful and efficient, taking time to smile and connect rather than just process orders.
Reading through other reviews, I noticed a strong divide between five-star and one-star ratings. Many of the low ratings seem to come from a single negative encounter. Personally, I don’t believe in judging a business on one off day or one employee’s mistake. If there’s an issue, I prefer to speak directly with the manager, and here, they’ve always been receptive and professional.
When a staff makes you feel genuinely welcome, it transforms a simple coffee stop into something enjoyable. This Fairfax Blvd Starbucks gets that balance exactly right.

I Doordashed a pumpkin spice latte, extra hot with foam. I received a 2/3 empty drink with no foam, an oil slick on the surface of the coffee and what looked like mold in the coffee. It was disgusting.

Total waste of money. They don’t put the right amount of coffee — I tried the shaken espresso twice and had the same issue both times. I even had to go back once to get it fixed. Then I ordered a hot mocha, and it was just as bad — basically paying for a cup of milk. The staff are friendly, but they definitely need more training on how to make the drinks properly. Don’t let this place ruin your morning.

Did drive thru today. It was a great experience and the coffee was delicious and bursting with flavor. I would highly recommend the Venti dark roast.

Went through the drive-thru and asked for light ice in three drinks, and somehow all three came filled to the absolute brim with ice. It honestly felt a little petty because there was barely any drink in the cups. I don’t usually complain, but this was really frustrating.

Ive been coming here every single morning for the last 2 years for my morning coffee as I work right around the corner, the staff is so lovely and kind. Val, who I’m assuming is the manager is very professional and always makes sure I’m taken care of, Alexis is great and so personable, Kya is so lovely to talk to in the drive through, Mohammed is such a kind young man just generally speaking the entire staff is amazing and super personable! I love coming by here, thank you all for making my experiences with you all amazing and always taking care of me!

This place knows EXACTLY how to put cold foam on a hot drink 🙂 Someone only messed it up once but otherwise they have made it several times perfectly. And they dont make comment when I get a bunch of modifications. This is one of those locations though that dont sleeve — I used to work at Starbucks and our location always did so people didn’t burn their hand but oh well?

I always like going to this Starbucks because it’s close to me, always for my almond milk cappuccino. But lately, they’ve been leaving me completely empty of the large size I buy. I’m basically just getting a small cup of coffee for about $6. The guy at the front desk is very friendly.
