There was no line and only one person waiting. She was given her order before I finished ordering. One sandwich. They then created a chaotic scene with lots of food orders and confusion thereby preventing me from watching how they handled my sandwich. I had been advised to wait at the end of the bar while 4 or 5 employees crowded the space, blocking my view and couple of them were on the heavier side. After about 10 sandwiches came out before my order and I watched a worker touch a sandwich with her bare, rubbed her boogie nose hand, I asked for my money back. Instead of making my sandwich immediately and sending me on my way- they made 10-12 sandwiches while I stood alone. After a couple of guys came in to the pick up counter, I asked for my money. I should have been out of the door in less than 5 minutes. They created that scene to block the handling of my food. It offered me the already made sandwich but I declined. This is the type of energy greeting you, making your drinks and handling your food. Watch yourselves. They have power and are thirsting to use it. Really all zeros for the experience.

Great little spot for Starbucks IF you’re a walker and are visiting the Square on a stroll. Tough to get metered parking if you’re driving during certain times of day (10am–2pm).
Cozy atmosphere, nice views, and the Baristas are pretty nice (one in particular is amazing and has an incredibly memory). BUT… the drinks are very weak. I’ve tried different coffees and teas of different sizes and strengths, but they are weak every single time.
Sad to say that I can’t patronize this particular location anymore without throwing money away.

The workers at this location are incompetent! Whether you place your order online or in person be prepared to wait 15+ mins for your order and the order might just be wrong. It’s happened to me 3 times. Wish there was another location but unfortunately this is the closest one to school…. Do better and hire better people before you lose all your customers!

Everything is fine, except for the outdoor seating area is dusty!
Plus: I can’t taste coffee in my latte, but the girl was kind enough to add another shot for me, which made it normal. Same thing happened in another Starbucks in Sant Barbara and that girl said I had to pay for another shot if I want the latte taste more like the coffee . I guess that’s it, Starbucks latte is like milk, you should always get the black coffee.

What is not to like about Starbucks anyway? This particular location is a cut above for excellence in customer service. The team there today was really helpful towards a young female who couldn’t make up her mind about what to order. They showed great patients in accommodating her. My drink was great. Thanks.
