The service at this location has been consistently disappointing, and several baristas have been noticeably rude and dismissive toward customers. Not all of the baristas are like this. One barista, I believe her name is Laura or it is an L name, consistently stands out for her kindness and professionalism. She is always helpful, not only to customers but also to her coworkers, stepping in to support her peers and making sure everyone is being helped and served efficiently. Her positive attitude and willingness to assist others create a noticeably better experience for both customers and staff, and she truly sets the standard for great customer service. But on multiple occasions, staff members have carried on conversations with each other in another language while assisting customers, which comes across as unprofessional and uncomfortable—especially when it’s done in front of people who are waiting or being helped. This behavior makes customers feel ignored and disrespected, as though they are being talked about or excluded during what should be a simple, courteous interaction. Overall, the lack of professionalism and basic customer service has made this an unpleasant experience.

If I could give this Starbucks zero stars, I honestly would. This place is actually unbelievable. The workers here act more clueless than a group project team that didn’t even read the assignment. They can NEVER get an order right. Like, how hard is it to make the drink that’s literally on the screen? I order something simple and somehow get a totally different drink every single time.
And the attitude? Oh my god. Instead of just fixing their mistake—which again, they made—they get mad at the customers. I literally watched them curse at actual kids just for asking them to remake something they messed up. How do you yell at children over a frappuccino?? It’s insane.
This place seriously needs new management or new training or something because whatever is happening now is NOT it. Until then, I’m going somewhere else. I’m not risking my sanity for a $7 drink that’s gonna be wrong anyway.

Slowest Starbucks coffee shop I know. Prime location Starbucks right on the Main Street around right in-front of the train station, it should be buzzing fast. I waited 15 minutes for a cup of coffee, even though there were three young men working there . There was a long line because they were too slow.

This Starbucks is the best I’ve been to in my life. They are so generous and kind hearted. They always make my drink perfect. I am a nurse in NYC and I leave for work earlier than Starbucks opens and everyday I work they always have my drink prepared for me before I go to work. Joe, Kierah and staff you make my long day bearable and your kindness does not go unnoticed. Thank you so much

I’ve been getting coffee from this Starbucks location for years now and have been enjoying it. However, recently there has been an inconsistency in my drinks. For instance, I order a vanilla sweet cream cold brew with light ice and light sweet cream (I’m not exaggerating when I say I order the same thing every time). I just ordered the same thing a few minutes ago and when I tasted it it was way too bitter as if there is no sweet cream in it. I also ordered yesterday and it was perfect. Yet when I ordered a week ago they gave me a mountain of ice with a splash of coffee. I also noticed that this inconsistency takes place during weekdays and after school hours. Lastly, the employees never properly update the Starbucks app because when I go to order online the drink says sold out, yet when I try to order the same drink (same day) in store it’s clearly in stock because they make it for me. I love Starbucks but I hope that the service improves.

Since it’s cold out, I only drink hot coffee and their hot coffee is great. Ordering from mobile, my order is ready by the time I get there, even during train rush.
Mostly ice in my ice coffee. Crew needs to be trained better.

I am writing to express my concerns about the recent changes I have observed at your establishment. As a loyal customer for the past three years, I have always appreciated the quality of service and the friendly atmosphere. However, I have noticed a significant decline in the operational management lately.
On Fridays and Saturdays, the only two staff members I consistently see working are the two girls in the morning, Mariela and Angelica. They are always super friendly and provide excellent service, but it is evident that they are overworked and constantly under pressure. When they are not there theres another young man, Jose who appears to be doing all the work at nights. They frequently get yelled at to speed up the preparation of drinks and food, which is unfair given that they seem to be the only ones working the hardest without any support.
It is disheartening to see these dedicated employees struggling without adequate help. I have never seen a manager stepping in to assist them, which raises concerns about the overall management of the restaurant. For this reason itself, I prefer to head down to Soundview where they have an abundance of Employees to ease the pressure at the kids on Main st.
