This is the best starbucks I have been to in my life. I have seen starbucks or other chain cafes such as Peet’s from the LA, Seattle, Manhattan, etc. This cafe has an identity of its own. Sometimes I think, the folks working here don’t even realize how good human beings they are and so passionate and gentle about their job. Not only it adds to the charm of Rye significantly, its a great way to connect with the town. It may not have the fanciest or the largest space, but its like home. For me, its place like this which makes NY and especially feel like more than home while being thousands of miles away from a home on paper. There are many other cafes on the same street, some with similarly nice people. But I love Starbucks coffee and their attention to detail on this place. This is perhaps same for many of us in the town. While the community could enjoy any kind of expensive coffee from anywhere, this is the goto place, the center of the town. Thank you so so much, guys! What you are doing here, the love you share, is what makes life beautiful. You guys are rock stars of this town and of Starbucks franchise in general (Starbucks of Seattle are way behind in my experience).

I stopped by the Starbucks in Rye, and I have to give a special shoutout to Jerry and the entire team. From the moment I walked in, the energy was warm and welcoming—something you don’t always get at every coffee chain.
Jerry stood out immediately. He was upbeat, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about each customer’s experience. Whether it was remembering regulars’ names or offering drink suggestions with a smile, he set the tone for the whole store.
The rest of the staff followed his lead—friendly, fast, and super efficient, even during a busy morning rush. My drink was made perfectly, and the barista even double-checked the order to make sure it was exactly how I wanted it.
This kind of service makes a big difference, especially when you’re grabbing coffee on the go. Rye’s Starbucks feels like a neighborhood spot thanks to the team running it. Huge props to Jerry and crew for turning a simple coffee run into a great start to the day.

I usually stop by this Starbucks at night with my kids, but tonight was something else the line was out the door! Rye was clearly hosting an event, maybe a school play or football game, with all the kids dressed in black. Even with the rush, there were only two girls working, and they handled everything with so much grace, patience, and professionalism. Truly impressive. They deserve a round of applause for keeping things moving and staying so positive under pressure Crystal and destiny have been working nights when we have come in and there has never been a Rush like this!

Starbucks is Starbucks, so don’t expect to walk into McDonalds. Pleasant amount of residents from Port Chester etc. You can expect to find at least one staff who speaks Spanish.
