I unfortunately found out I have a food sensitivity and this is the only Starbucks I feel comfortable going to. The staff is always so nice and addresses my needs. Thank you guys for everything <3

Quaint Starbucks in a small shopping center in Franklin Lakes – perfect spot to grab a coffee while going to the awesome upscale Market Basket.

The Starbucks in Franklin Lakes usually has good service. Much better than the Starbucks in Oakland. But today I ordered online and went to pick up my order. There were two employees behind the counter and waited almost 10 minutes before either one of them asked me if I needed help. There was one other gentlemen there waiting not sure if they were helping him. No one made any kind of eye contact just with me. The one girl made a drink put it down and walked away came back and started cleaning. Finally the other guy when he was done drinking his drink and helped a customer who walked in to place an order. Eventually walked over to me to see what I wanted. I usually go out of my way to go to the Starbucks in Franklin Lakes because of great service they give. But after today I may stop going to either store because of the bad service. Why bother wasting my money and time.

Friendly enough greetings, until I saw a sign that said holidays bring everyone together or something like that. Then they have a chalk sign I reach happy Hanukkah and Happy Kwanzaa. My visit was on December 23rd. Then the Cubs come out with the same message. I’m not one to be offended by a happy Hanukkah or Happy Kwanzaa message but when it deliberately appears Christmas was left out, I am offended. Not sure if this is a corporate decision or a local store decision, but I rarely visit Starbucks as it is and this is another reason now to not visit.

I loved it here. I work in North Haledon and usually did my Starbucks runs at the Wayne location. Little did I know that this gem was 5 minutes away! I love that it’s in the same plaza as playa bowls AND market basket. And there’s a chase bank?! Location is great. Also, I was able to get my oatmeal with steamed almond milk that the barista kindly did for me. Game changer! Super nice staff. They do customers of the month which is pretty cool also.

They never get a drink order right. I hate to ask to have my drink remade because the employees will roll their eyes at you and give you an attitude. When I pay $4-$5 for a drink I would like it to be correct and be full to the top of the cup. When I order and pay for a Venti I want a Venti not a Grande. If I order an iced beverage I expect them to follow the recipe exactly so I get a consistent drink from Starbucks to Starbucks. The Baristas at this Starbucks don’t feel the need to measure anything properly so the drinks are either watered down, too sweet, or too strong. I know I’m not the only person that feels this way because the last time I was in there two separate people asked to speak to the manager and they were told the manager was not in that day. They might want to consider having a manager on duty at all times and train there employees on consistency.

Unbelievable. I came into Starbucks wearing a rainbow shirt. The “manager” Danni saw what I was wearing and told me “we don’t serve your kind here”. She then erected a Nazi flag in the middle of the store and started chanting “No Lattes for the “ I didn’t even want a latte.

Post Corona it just isn’t the same. My birthday was in March, everything was locked down. While they extended my birthday drink till June 1, that was just not long enough for this area. When I inquired, the girl at the counter was just nasty about it and telling me that her birthday was in March too and she didn’t get birthday drink either. Sorry but you work there.
