Ok. I HATE going to this location. It’s too busy with too many people that are clearly not from the town. I always wait up to 20 minutes for a coffee that’s usually not even hot. But I’m giving 5 stars because the staff here is excellent. The workers here are always friendly and courteous, even when they are extremely busy making ridiculously complex drinks for an obnoxious clientele. The staff here is great and especially (I believe his name is Jeff). Always friendly and courteous!

This location has extremely rude employees. I was treated rudely and talked back at by one employee in particular. I was picking up an order and waited patiently for a long time to even be acknowledged by an employee. They ignore the customers completely until they get flagged down. I could see my order on the counter and asked one employee if it was my order, she lied and told me it wasn’t. I looked myself and it was my order that I needed to be picked up. I get snapped at by another employee for looking myself, then when I politely asked her to bag up the order because it was my order and I needed to take it she talked back, treated me very poorly, and flat out, admitted that she gives preferential treatment to Certain customers. As far as I’m concerned, this whole staff needs to be retrained in customer service.

Second attempt to use my own travel mug a different Starbucks. This time, Rue grabbed my mug with her bare hands instead of using the container that they’re supposed to use when people bring their own mug. So when I asked about it, she sauntered over to the drive-through window area to retrieve it. With a “look” on her face. She made a point of telling me how much my change was. All of which I was going to throw in the tip jar. Until she neatly stacked it and put it down in the tip jar. Did she really think I was going to leave her a tip after that attitude and pulling that crap?

I’m really disappointed and sad to be writing this because I’m there everyday, but this has to be a joke. I can’t attach a picture for some reason but I was given the most ridiculous drink I’ve never received from a Starbucks. My drink has been made wrong 5 times in the past week and a half. I brought this one back in today and asked if it could be remade correctly. The guy stated at me for a second, said “Oh. My bad….” And then made it still missing 2 of my 3 customizations despite taking my cup back and looking at the sticker. I just left because I don’t like confrontation and I already felt bad going back in to ask for it to be remade, especially when it’s busy (it wasn’t busy today, there were 2 cars in the drive thru and no one ordering inside). Really disappointing because this never used to be a problem, and I didnt even want to write this since I go so regularly.

First off I always use my app to order which is why I will never be going to this Starbuck again because the no longer allow order ahead. I was out with friends and went inside as usually the order ahead is disabled so I order an iced lavender cream oatmilk match…. what I got was a hot latte …. I told them it was supposed to be ice and she said nope you said hot ….I don’t drink hot lattes ever I would never order them. This is after the people making the drinks asked for the ticket and she said oh it didn’t print iknow what it is ill make them. She insisted that she made my order and walked away…. a complete waste of money but I guess that’s what I get for going to Starbucks in torrington. Never again especially without order ahead.
