I’ve visited this Starbucks fewer than ten times and have generally had positive experiences, which is why this interaction stood out. While settling in to order and get some work done, I was approached by a manager within a few minutes and asked to make a purchase to use the space. Before I could finish processing or place my order, she approached me again, which felt rushed and uncomfortable.

I’ve also previously observed this same staff member speak abruptly to another customer, though I didn’t know the context at the time. That made this experience feel less like an isolated moment and more about how interactions are handled.

I enjoy this location and hope future guests are given a bit more time and a welcoming approach that aligns with the Starbucks experience.

Normal Starbucks experience, but pretty sure the workers tonight thought I wanted a hot milk with a hint of coffee. The taste of my “coffee” was really just hot milk with the appearance of a very light brown. Would not recommend as I had selected just a splash (1/4″) of milk and not half of the cup.

I’ve been coming here since this place opened back in the mid-2000s. Today I go to pick up my mobile order, waited forever (which is pretty normal here, whatever) only to be told one of my drinks had been taken, also no biggie. Whatever, they can make a new one, totally fine.

When I got the “new” drink it has someone else’s name lazily half wiped off and it was the wrong size. I waited to get the your man’s attention to point this out (receipt ready on my phone) and he point blank looked at me said I was wrong about what I ordered even with my receipt on my phone stating otherwise. Then he slammed the window shut and ignored me at the window. Yikes!

I love Starbucks coffee, the service is kind of slow if you go inside if you’re in the Drive-Thru they prioritize you, when I was in a few weeks ago the staff seemed to be just lawyer and around there was one kid Keegan that was actually busting his butt and getting things done

I ordered a sandwich and a drink. I went to the bathroom. There was a large pile of crumpled up toilet paper in the corner. There were other things on the floor. An empty packet of something. A tag from another thing. Obviously not cleaned in awhile. There were people gathered waiting for their food. I then waited 20 minutes. I checked the food waiting for pick up. Mine was there. Placed while I was in the bathroom maybe? It was cold and dry with no drink to wash it down. I waited Another 20 + minutes. People got their drinks one at a time. Several people had to ask if they were still working on their order because something was missing. Every time they handed a drink to a customer they said “sorry for the wait” and walked away. People literally waited for more than an hour. Finally a young person called my name holding part of my drink in their hand. They ran out of one significant ingredient. They offer to improvise. I said yes because I felt bad because I knew she was trying. And I had waited so long with nothing to drink to wash the sandwich down with. I already knew that ingredient was important to me and I was not going to like it. Or the drink without it. I tried to offer to them they might want to wait to heat food until drinks are near being done, otherwise it’s cold. They tell me each station is different so no one at one station knows what the other is doing. And that station also has to handle the drive thru so they get backed up. I suggest they might need to find a way to coordinate because otherwise it is pointless to heat up food that is then served cold again. THEN, I am told that it is not helpful to them to hear complaints because they are already stressed out. I was not complaining. Iwas very respectful. I was giving constructive feedback because I thought they cared about customer experience. I was told it was not feedback. It was just my opinion. At which point I have my drink back. It wasn’t what I ordered without the missing ingredient. Though they tried to improvise with something “that tasted the same”. NOT!!! I had not drunk any. I was not offered a refund. They were glad I was leaving. I’ve been going there for 11 years. There have been times when they have stopped selling my drink and I’ve adapted. (More recently they stopped selling java chip frappacinos. You have to ask them to add java chips to amocha frap and pay 70 cents extra. They did not do that with other specialty fraps such as cookie crumble. ) Over the last two years they having increasingly gotten slower and slower. The entire store is more unkempt. Tables are always dirty. Like most places in Lewiston/Auburn lately the staff are younger with no ability to think beyond the moment. Beyond the scripted job they are doing. No longer able to think about the impact on the customer. It doesn’t matter you are serving cold hot food with no drinks because you did your job and heated it up. They also do not want to know. They come to get paid for their time. Period. The fact starbucks is overpriced because it is supposed to be presented in a way that provides something better is wasted on them. The fact that customers provide the money that pays them seems to be lost in them too. The idea that feedback helps maintain quality and should be welcomed is gone in this area of the state. I was in the store total for 1 hour 10 minutes. I ate a cold sandwich. I returned a drink that was not what I paid for. Despite their reaction to feedback I was not being rude until I was treated like a nuisance for it. Consider the almost $8.00 for the drink i did not take my parting gift. Ashley has worked there for years a left over from a better era. She was not there when all this happened. She is wonderful.

I come here pretty often. The staff is warm and welcoming. I usually can get my favorite drink.

A venti blonde iced late with 3 pumps of caramel and 3 pumps of toffee nut.

Most people seem to get angry as they do run out of ingredients quickly and sometimes are missing ingredients for almost a week. The staff do their best for alternatives and substitutions.

If Starbucks corporate sees this. Please rebuild the building or move the staff to another location up to specifications set by the other shops around the country. The speakers can’t play bass, the staff is constantly saying sorry and coming through to walk 2 people around each other. They need space, storage and air for the staff whom are usually beaded with sweat. This will help the staff be more efficient and happy.

Waited in line for 25 minutes, ordered a shaken Espresso with cream and the barista had no idea what cream meant. Asked me three different times if I meant cold foam. Finally get up to the window and see a barista on their phone, and two others chatting in front of customers while one person is working making drinks. Get my drink and it’s made completely wrong. At this point I was running late for work so i couldn’t wait for it to be remade. Crazy

Quick stop while traveling and I realize this isn’t so much a criticism of Starbucks as of their customers, but almost every time I go to a Starbuck, people are talking or watching videos on their phones without earbuds. This location had multiple people with their phones on speaker which just seems rude to me anyway…
