This has been my local Starbucks since they first opened 20+ years ago. During this time there have been many employees and managers, but I have always found the people working there to be friendly and professional.
The service is great, and since I’m there virtually every day, the team knows my drinks and preferences (no foam please!). I typically walk to this Starbucks from home, which is about a mile each way. On these recent cold days, I’ve appreciated having a nice hot drink to warm me up.
No matter how busy the store is, they always take a minute to ask how I’m doing and to wish me a good day, which makes the service and ambiance so much more personal than what you see in a typical fast food establishment.
It’s not the cheapest place to get a coffee, but whether it’s a latte or an iced coffee, I’ll take it over Dunkin’s any day!

It is not everyday that you think about Starbucks as “your neighborhood coffee house” but when it comes to the one in Newtonville, Ma, it absolutely fits that bill. It is always busy, but no one ever feels unattended too, and if you are standing waiting, Danielle and her staff are always willing to check on your order. The staff seem to like and support each other and as mentioned above, Danielle is a wonderful manager. We have a lot of options as to where to go in Newton for coffee- I am just grateful that the Newtonville Starbucks is there for me!

The service overall is amazing and everyone greets you with a warm smile and welcome:) I was able to interact with this particular Starbucks through my fundraising for animal rights! Everyone inside was more than happy to support and allow us to do outreach with the community. They seemed to be very involved with helping their community overall and were a pleasure to meet!!

I come into the Newtonville Starbucks almost every morning to relax before I start my workday, and it is my favorite ritual. The people are attentive, thoughtful, and friendly, and they look after me. The training of the barista and store management generally seem excellent, and Danielle (store manager) and Kelly (district manager) are friendly and extremely helpful and eager to talk and listen. My favorite Starbucks.

Busiest Starbucks I Have Ever Seen
The go to place for many students and pet parents, and star market customers. School districts have been the biggest beneficiary of the store. Mobile orders were stacked like crazy and staff was super able to deliver the orders.
My experience was very good, and as summer approached the demand for lemonades were off the roof.
Parking is available opposite the store in Start Market Parking lot for 2 hours and paid street parking was also available.
Pets Friendly due to the outside seating area, saw many people getting puppy-chino cups for their pets. The area is beautiful and full of mom and pop eatery and personal care stores.
Worth a visit this summer, enjoy the sun and weather.
