I just saw a WSJ article saying the new CEO is looking for review feedback on stores to make them better. Here’s mine:

I’m a regular. The staff is amazing – thank you!

I enjoy the beverages. The food menu is just OK – the pastries are not particularly appetizing; the heated breakfast sandwiches and wraps are often too hot and the bread too moist and not tasty.

It is too loud with all the hard surfaces and background music.

But my main concern this time of year is the experience of sitting at a table and the doors opening: the cold air just rushes right in on most of the seating. This could be fixed by adding outer doors or revolving doors on the two entrances, like many buildings in New England. It’s not a cheap fix but it would make the place much more welcoming in winter and more environmentally friendly to boot.

This location is absolutely unacceptable. They served raw pork in sandwiches, which is a serious health concern. The drinks are clearly diluted—at least 40%—and they do not include the fruit that is advertised and supposed to come with the drinks. When you ask for a drink to be remade, the staff responds with an attitude, snatches the drink, and walks away. I returned an hour later and the drink was still sitting on the counter, untouched, waiting for someone else to take it.

To make matters worse, one employee was wiping down tables and the trash area then with dirty hands, then touching and adjusting cups on the counter without washing his hands. This is extremely unsanitary.

The supervisor is just as bad—rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. If someone cannot handle their job or address customer concerns respectfully, they should find a different line of work. This place seriously lacks basic hygiene, customer service, and management accountability. They are used to people, not saying anything when something is wrong with their order that when someone does say something they get highly upset.

I used to love Starbucks but it’s gone down hill. This location is pretty good. Plenty of parking here. It’s a shared parking lot. The staff were civil, not impolite. The prices have gone way up. The tea bag seemed like plastic. They don’t put out carafs of milk anymore. The staff needs to add it for you. The tea tasted funny and I ended up dumping it. Overall it was disappointing. There is outside seating here which is good. The inside is dark and boring.

It was a place where you enjoyed having coffee every day before going to work, but I have no idea why it closed. Besides that, it gets very cold inside in the winter. Other than that, there are no problems.

Ordered 2 venti shaken espressos. When we got them they were not full. My fiancé asked if they could remake it and was told “it’s the machine that’s how they come” and then went back after and asked for the drinks to be remade to be full for $15 worth of coffee. The barista basically spit in his face. Extremely disappointed with the service. Danny was the person who was “assisting” us.

My experience was a bit more than just the coffee and food which those were amazing as well. My, first experience was with an unfortunate incident that happened right outside the Starbucks stores with a patron who was entering. This patron happened to fall and do quite a bit of extensive damage to her face, In which I was fortunate enough to witness and be there and was able to assist. Once this young lady was stable, I went inside to inform the manager on what happened and this is where the manager whose name is.Malachai sprung into action. He proceeded to grab a chair, bring it outside to make sure this young woman was comfortable in this unfortunate setting and at the same time call 911 went inside and make sure that a nice pack was given all in a matter of minutes. He stayed with her to comfort her to make sure everything was OK and made this unfortunate situation and or experience a little bit better. Also want to add that I proceeded to head inside to grab myself a coffee after this situation was taken care of and a young lady by the name of Carly Was at the register and asked me if I was the one that assisted outside, which I told her yes and proceeded to Let me know that everything was all paid for . At that time, I refused it but she Insisted, and I felt the fact that she went above and beyond to thank Me was absolutely incredible. And lastly, there was one other young lady by the name of Eunyoung that while the Manager was off getting help in the ice pack. She sat with her to comfort her and guarantee that she would be OK. At the end of the day, the teamwork from this cruel was amazing quick in their respond responding and it was a great thing to witness. Five stars for all three of these people in the Starbucks themselves

I had a really frustrating day before coming in to order my coffee. I’m sure my face looked completely expressionless, but when I saw the smile drawn on my bottle, it instantly brightened my day. It was such a warm and thoughtful gesture. I just want to say thank you to the wonderful staff—you guys are so sweet, and I truly appreciate it.

I’m seeing some similar comments and I have to agree I’ve been coming here for years and it honestly has gone downhill bc just now I order extra cold foam and received bubbles. The barista was kind enough to make me some extra on the side, but unfortunately it was just liquid.
