The Sacred Venom Temple
The women at this Starbucks were incredibly unprofessional. I was genuinely shocked by what we experienced. We were publicly interrupted and told not to speak to people because we were supposedly soliciting. Starbucks has always been a place where people network, meet others, and conduct business. That has long been part of its culture and environment.

We were not soliciting anything. We did not ask anyone if they were interested in our business. We were simply having a conversation. We were in the middle of speaking with a realtor when we were interrupted and told not to discuss whatever it was they assumed we were discussing. To this day, we do not know what they believed we were soliciting.

No one there knows anything about our company, and we never asked anyone for business. I was simply making conversation and meeting people, which is a normal and common occurrence in a public coffee shop.

My fiancé worked for Starbucks for several years and at five different locations. He understands the company culture and how things are meant to operate. He gave a significant amount of his time and energy to this organization, and over the years we have also spent a considerable amount of money at Starbucks locations all over the country.

Because of that history, we hold this company to a higher standard. We know the environment Starbucks aims to create. We know it has always positioned itself as a community gathering space where conversations, networking, and business meetings are welcome.

The behavior we experienced felt immature and unprofessional. Instead of handling the situation discreetly or asking clarifying questions, it was addressed in a way that felt accusatory and unnecessary. Customer service requires communication, kindness, and discernment, and unfortunately that was not demonstrated in this situation.

We hope management takes the time to address professionalism and customer interaction standards so that future guests are treated with more respect and consideration.

I usually enjoy my Starbucks visits, but this time was genuinely frustrating. Multiple items were missing from my order, and none of the customizations I requested were followed.
2 orders of Potato cheddar chive bites were missing.
Requested Sriracha sauce was missing.
Mozzarella cheese was not removed.

It felt like the order was rushed and not double-checked at all. I understand things can get busy, but accuracy and attention to detail are important, especially when it comes to customer preferences. Really hoping this was just a one-off, but it left me pretty disappointed.

It’s unbelievable the amount of careless for peoples time here. I’m a dasher I walked in 1024 I check order two drinks and two eggs. Hey there sitting on the counter . Makenna making more drinks as my order need to be bagged . 10 minutes go by and I witness her lollygagging with her coworker man with a bun literally talking about their age. Wow I’m still watching these eggs sit longer and longer and idk bout you but when a frap sits for too long it goes bad. After watching her take a sample WHILE SHES MAKING DRINKS mind you. I grow very agitated and I thought I was polite enough to ask her to finish bagging up the order so I can go.” I’ll get there when I’m finished with this. ” Wow. I hate coming here please remove dashing system from your store . Walk out 1034 .

Seems like they don’t handle being busy very well. Drinks were made pretty hastily. Cinnamon dolce latte was really dark/not enough milk and strawberry cold foam on matcha latte was hardly mixed, as you can see from photos. I was fortunate to get a cup of water, unlike others in the reviews, thankfully, because I got the hiccups while waiting in line. Drive-up line wait was about 15 min.

Seriously… Starbucks. You wouldn’t be as big of a company if it weren’t for the people that support you. However… you guys have lost the customer service and care you once had. Especially the Cottonwood, Arizona location. When I spend $5-$7 on a customized drink and I get that without any ice or the additions I asked for it quite frankly ticks me off! This coffee just went into the trash. I was too ticked off to go deal with your unfriendly uncaring barista. I won’t be back. Dutch bros around the corner. I was an avid Starbucks fan… but your service and product has gone downhill.
