Ryan makes this Starbucks location shine! At the Prairie View & Ashworth store in Waukee, he’s the best little bit of sunshine anyone could ask for in the morning. Always happy to help, quick with great suggestions, and so genuinely friendly—it’s contagious.

Always fast and friendly. Using the the mobile app to place my order ahead of time and picking up my order inside gets me in and out in less than a minute every time. Starbucks espresso is a truly beautiful thing.

Nicely designed Starbucks. Very clean. Great staff. I got my first PSL of the season but since I gave up coffee awhile ago I got decaf espresso. The baristas accommodated my request with no problem. The drink came out pretty quickly. My spinach and feta wrap and cheese danish took a few more minutes to come out but they were at the perfect temp so it was worth the wait!

At 2/18/2026 got my drink at 7:26pm. Order at drive thru , staff let my pink drink sit on a the counter melting for 10 minutes. Holding the line- forgot about me.

Took off one star for atmosphere not with a complaint for this location but due to Starbuck’s new policy of handing you the credit machine to guilt you into adding a tip! When I pay $7 for a coffee and $7 for a snack that should cost a buck, Starbucks should increase the wages of their employees, NOT push it back on their loyal Starbucks fans! Due to this policy this will be my final Starbuck’s visit (I am switching to Scooter’s – check ’em out). However, NOTHING wrong at this location (other than the extortion and exorbitant costs that are inherent at Starbuck’s). Great service, standard Starbuck’s coffee fare, and this is in particular a never busy location. If you insist on paying a large part of your paycheck for coffee at Starbuck’s (and being emotionally FORCED to add a tip for someone merely doing their job) you may as go here!

Really good here. Tried the new Blackberry Sage Lemonade Refresher and the Spinach Feta Egg White wrap. Both were really good. My 16 year old son has the sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwich and a caramel Frappuccino made with coffee and he enjoyed his breakfast as well. Super friendly service and quick promptness with getting everything ready. We ate inside and it was clean. The guy working the lobby even brought napkins to the table unasked when he saw I could use one. So nice. I’ve stopped in there often to use up Starbucks gift cards and have never been disappointed.

We ordered two coffees. A hot caramel macchiato & a hot apple crisp macchiato. The caramel macchiato had an odd taste & we assumed it needed stirred only to find a piece of gum. We called the store & they said come in & we will give you giftcards. 2 $4 giftcards does not cover the $12 we spent on the drinks. Its also disgusting & more should have been done. The apple crisp one was just gross tasting, not sure if it was just my preference or if it was somehow messed up. No gum in that one.

I do not get my coffee anywhere else. This store is the best!!!! Everyone is always nice, my food and drink come out tasting great. I tried getting the same coffee with other Starbucks locations but none tasted like the one I get from here. The secret ingredient must be “great customer service”.
