I mean no offense, but is an entire cup of ice normal? I bought a drink at the drive-thru, and after making a turn, it was gone, leaving only a full cup of ice. I’m not sure how this happened, but I haven’t had this issue at other locations.

Elphaba Cold Brew has hooked for a bit! Tasty combination of peppermint and pistachio cold foam, a bit too easy to bring in my own cup for ten cents off and fill up a thirty ounce six dollar day smash. Great location here and easy to get in and out, room for plopping down to enjoy the overpriced menu. Service is extremely good here however the prices keep going up. I’m no crazy health nut but am hesitant to frequent expensive low quality roast and high sugar frappes. I love Sacred Grounds and Eleventh House for proper espresso in the area. They cannot compete with the app Starbucks offers but do better with coffee quality and crafted food options.

I ordered a grande peppermint hot chocolate. After the whipped cream, this is 2/3 full and barely warm. Especially for a $5 drink, I expect it to be full. And hot. Third time this has happened at this location in the past few months. Of course I only discover this after leaving the drive-thru. Photo is of an untouched drink. The audacity to ask for a tip in this situation is mind-blowing. (The gentleman at the drive through was very friendly, but that doesn’t make up for the lack of drink.)

I just have to leave a 5 star review this morning as I’m sipping on my PERFECTLY made venti coffee from this store!! I regretfully woke up late this morning, didn’t make my coffee at home, and didn’t have enough time for a coffee stop on my way to work. I work on campus and all the Purdue coffee shops are closed this week, so I had no choice (lol) but to order my coffee via DoorDash (cringe). The DoorDash app doesn’t let you customize your drink as much as the Starbucks app (i.e. when I order a splash of vanilla sweet cream, SB app lets me choose how much I want, DD app does not). Since this coffee was going to cost me nearly 15 dollars before tip (DD fees), I wanted to ensure it was going to taste the way I like! I called the store before I placed my order on the app just to see if it was possible, and the barista was SO kind about my request. I wish I would’ve asked for her name. She said, “No problem at all, I’ll be on the lookout for an order for Elizabeth and make sure you get extra sweet cream!” When it arrived, it had a cute note with a smiley face. The best part? It was absolutely the most perfect drink I’ve ever had from Starbucks. That’s the kind of customer service that leaves a lasting impression on a customer. Small acts of kindness go a long way. Well done, and thank you! You saved this sleep-deprived mom from being grouchy and/or falling asleep at her desk.

Speedy service, good coffee, usual Starbucks. I don’t generally write reviews but each time I go, I always find myself wishing to encounter David at the drive thru window. He is so sweet and friendly, he always puts a smile on my face. At this point, I’m paying for the service rather than the goods. David deserves a damn raise how hard he works to greet each and every customer with a smile and learn their name – no matter how short the interaction is! So much love for that employee!!

This store just consistently has the laziest baristas in town. The composition of the drinks is fine for basic orders, but the assembly is always a mess. And when you specifically order decaf espresso in a drink, as a pregnant woman trying to care for her unborn child….you get regular espresso labeled decaf and end up wired all night, sleepless and stressed with an elevated heart rate. I appreciate corporate’s response regarding the decaf screwup, but I can’t trust this store for anything that actually contains coffee at this point, because every single order I place comes out a lazy mess.
