I LOVE Starbucks BUT I hate that the ice drinks have more ice than drinks in them. I swear after 3 sips the drink is completely gone. ICE BE FILLED UP TO THE RIM OF THE CUP THOUGH!!! SMH

IF I wanted a cup of ice I would order that. When I pay for a drink I expect to enjoy the drink, Especially a Venti! It’s like I pay for a Venti but barely get a tall drink. Smh

This particular Starbucks is always the ABSOLUTE SLOWEST!! Pre-ordering in the app can help to a small degree on the wait time, but generally you can expect to wait at least 10 minutes no matter what. The worst I waited was 27 minutes in the drive thru for a mobile order. I had placed the order as I was leaving the Planet Fitness nearby, and when I pulled up to the speaker I was told they’d be with me in a just a moment, I said I had a mobile order, they still said just a moment. Almost 10 minutes later they finally came back on the speaker and asked what the name was on my mobile order, I told them, I was told it was still being prepared (mind you I’ve been in the line for just over 10 minutes already, but it had been nearly 15 since placing the mobile order)… But they asked me to go ahead and pull forward to the window… There are 2 cars ahead of me at the window, they get their orders after a bit and pull off, I get to the window and still wait for my order… By the time I’m finally pulling out it is quarter till 7am… I have a 20 minute drive to work still from there… The workers are always pretty pleasant, just slow… I never wait more than 6-7 minutes at the Starbucks close to my house.

Horrible service at the Pell City location. My daughter and I went by this evening through the drive thru. They weren’t busy at all. Service was quick but the girl taking our order got both of our drinks wrong.

I asked for the seasonal caramel brulee creme – tall. She didn’t know what that was and asked if I wanted coffee in it. Per the website, it should come with 2% milk – steamed hot, 3 pumps of the caramel brulee sauce, whipped cream and caramel brulee topping. She rang it up as a caramel brulee frappucino. So I got a frozen drink when I should have gotten a hot one. Are the workers not trained on how to ring up and make seasonal drinks? And on top of all of it, it didn’t even have any caramel brulee syrup in it! So I was given a vanilla frappucino which is NOT what I ordered and paid for.

My daughter asked for a grande hot peppermint mocha. The girl gave her a tall and then said we ordered a tall one. It said grande on the screen when we ordered it. She went to “fix” it and then proceeded to give my daughter a grande hot mocha coffee, no peppermint whatsoever. I feel like BOTH drinks being wrong was deliberate.

I’m not sure who this place is hiring, like if it’s teenagers or what. But they don’t listen to customers. On Google this location has an abysmally low rating. So it isn’t just our experience from today. Bad service seems to be the norm there. I’d say fix it but i doubt that will happen. All the horrible service starts at the top, so management seems to be a big problem here too. I won’t be going to this local location again though, which is disappointing.

I love Starbucks coffee. However, the last couple of times going through the drive through there is no customer service. Today at 10 am I pulled to yhe window and was not greeted. I spoke and asked how the girl was doing and was ignored. Once I got my drink and pulled up I realized I was missing a cake pop I had ordered and went inside to get it. The girls at the front were kind. However, it doesnt require a lot to say hello to your customers or smile. I will now give my business to local only.

A previous reviewer posted a picture next to her negative review on receiving half a cup of liquid after ordering a drink with no ice. That’s what I’ve gathered from the context of her half witted, and poorly written comment. With Google you can learn a lot before posting on the internet, As such; “a general guideline where the drink is filled to the level of the intended liquid and ice components, resulting in a cup that is not full. This policy acknowledges that the standard drink price includes a certain volume of product, and the space for ice is a portion of that volume, not free product. Therefore, ordering a drink “no ice” or “light ice” means you get the intended liquid recipe without the ice, and the remainder of the cup will be empty space” So next time you are giving the employees at your local business a hard time, take a moment of empathy, and intellect to research an insignificant entitled problem, before making yourself a beast of burden. Also every time I stop at the Pell City Starbucks, the young woman that was wrongfully accused of misconduct in the former reviewers picture, is so wonderfully charming, she’s always so welcoming, warm, and all around generally inviting. She’s the reason I even show up to the store.

Staff not very polite and they are always out of something, especially if it a seasonal flavor. It seems like bad management….just order a little more of popular flavor. They just started selling apple crisp flavor and have been out for a week at Pell City Alabama location.

Poor customer service at the drive through window. Did not speak. Handed me the iced coffees without straws and shut the window. I waited and she opened the window and just looked at me and I asked for straws. Not one single word was spoken. Definitely will not be going back to this location. This is the 2nd poor experience here.

Everything about today’s experience solidified that I will not return to this Starbucks ever again. It used to be decent at least but the staff is super rude the drinks don’t make up for the attitude you get ordering and it’s just pure chaos

This is possibly the worst Starbucks I have ever been to. It is consistently bad. The staff is rude, service is slow, they are always out of their most popular items, and drinks are never made right. When you ask your drink to be corrected, it somehow ends up worse. I’ve never been to a drive thru coffee shop where I am told there is a “15 to 20 minute wait” with only three people in the line. There needs to be some serious training and overall restructuring of this business location and staff.

I thought long and hard about doing this but I have to say something! I have gone through this drive through for the Ice Lavender Cream Oatmilk Matcha twice and each time the cold foam has been white. I spoke up about it today and the barista working the window told me it is because the cold foam sinks into the middle. If the cold foam isn’t supposed be purple is Starbucks falsely advertising this drink (screenshot of advertisement posted in addition to my drink)? Now, I learned my colors as a child and even if the cold foam is sinking it would still be purple! I paid $7.10 for this drink as I asked for a Venti with extra lavender cold foam. Also, the drink just tastes like oat milk and matcha! I can make that at home! No lavender at all! I don’t appreciate the gaslighting! I was back home in Colorado last week and ordered this drink several times and the cold foam was purple and tasted of lavender! If you all don’t know how to make this drink correctly maybe the baristas in CO should come train y’all! I just want what I paid for! Finally, how are y’all snapping on lids with bare hands after handling cash and equipment and not offering straws! At least try to prevent the spread of illness! Do better!
