I went this morning to the Starbucks location in Mount Airy North Carolina on Rockford St around 8:45am through drive thur and asked for a brown sugar shaken espresso with regular milk, white mocha sauce, and light ice. The employee said “We can not do light ice because it’s a fire hazard” I’ve never heard of that before and it doesn’t make sense. I did not get my coffee because of that. And I understand that there will not be more espresso in it i just wanted more milk instead of it packed full of ice. I like my coffees milky and if i did want more espresso I would be more than happy to pay for it! I had ordered that exact drink in the past with light ice and they always did it with more milk which I was absolutely fine with. It makes me upset because I had a gift card and now I can’t get what I want with it. It would be nice if someone could fix this.

I was greeted when I walked in. I had to wait a couple minutes to place my order. The barista was very friendly and fixed my order immediately. Once you receive your cup there is a drink station that has the cup shields, lid plugs, etc. My drink was as good as usual. I recommend this location in Mt. Airy.

I have been a customer of Mt Airy for years and today I order a Carmel Machiotto and it was horrible. Went in and had it remade and it was again horrible. Drive thru took forever and the store was not busy as I found out when I went I. To have drink remade. Staff was not normal staff all new ppl. BRING BACK OLD STAFF OR U LOSE A CUSTO.ER BC THIS STAFF IS HORRIBLE AND CANT MAKE COFFEE DRINKS. WASTED $7.00 ON CRAP

I recently had a very disappointing experience at the Mount Airy, NC Starbucks. The drive-thru staff was shockingly rude, making me feel rushed and unwelcome. On top of that, the coffee I received was of poor quality—watery, bitter, and nothing like what I usually get from Starbucks. I expected a warm, friendly interaction and a well-made drink, but instead, I left frustrated and dissatisfied. I will think twice before returning to this location and hope they improve both their customer service and coffee quality.

There was a long line, but they worked the line very fast and remained very friendly and helpful! Our drinks were made perfect! Thank you for smiling faces at 6:30am

Everything I get from here is exactly as ordered and the staff is always lovely!

But every single time you get in the drive thru line it takes 15 minutes to get to the window. From what I’ve observed it looks like they’re almost constantly short staffed. Hire more people!

Delicious!! They made my Chai latte with soy so yummy!! Creamy! The bathroom is pretty clean. No unisex bathroom!! It’s great. I don’t have to see dripping on the floor in front of the toilet. Hee hee.

Sent my boyfriend in to pick up our order and when I picked up the cup I realized it was pretty light, opened it to find about half of a drink. Insane for a $6 cup of coffee. Employees also seem to have lacked in customer service training. I will be remaining at my normal elkin store from now on.

Typical Starbucks as far as atmosphere, offers in door and outdoor seating as well as a drive thru. The lighting is low creating an overall feel of warmth and friendliness. Coffee ranges from brewed to frappe with mainstay flavors and seasonal. The food is not bad however it is prepared somewhere else and microwaved on site. There is plenty of swag and Starbucks merch for purchase.
