The senorita bread is awesome! We bought 60 of them. Must visit! It’s a small bakery with a big flavor. Fast and friendly service.
(As always, be aware of your surroundings as this is kind of in a rough part of Vallejo.)

When my lovely wife suggested Starbread for a brunch snack, I was having doubts, as I’ve never heard of them before. She, however, works in Vallejo 5/days a week, so I should’ve known better. NOW I do, and it is the perfect spot for baked goods. Everything looks delicious and is made fresh in-store, but She introduced me to the “Senorita” bread first. A box of 30 runs $18, and is WELL worth the price. Light, airy, buttery, and sweet are the best words to describe this treat, and before I knew it, I had eaten 6 of the small loaves. The layer of sweet butter on the bottom was phenomenal, and I fell in love. After ordering some donuts, a few muffins, cookies, and a smattering of other bread, I left feeling I was prepared for the next few days of treats for after meals. WRONG!! If this shop were in my town of Chico, I’d gain well over 50+ lbs trying to taste it all. Fast service, hot bread, sweets for all…I recommend this to anybody, with ZERO flaws in the baking process. But then, Vallejoan’s already know this.

One of my favorite pastries shops. I drop by as often as I can for a diverse assortment of baked goods. Great and affordable. Have one or a few dozen for yourself. Share with some coworkers or a gathering. Amazing with coffee or tea. There are infinite possibilities where you could consume or share the love. Definitely check this store out of many around the local locations.

Went here twice. 1st time I come in to the shop no greeting, one lady infront of me as I wait. She orders an another lady comes. They said in a foreign language and proceeds to order also everything would be ok until I see her pay separately meaning she could have wanted because she came in somewhat time after me. So I left kinda. Come back may I get box of 20 she hands me a box I leave get to my place of residence to have a box of burnt starbread. Just wild. Never again.

It is easy to miss this locale as it is tucked away near an unassuming corner of the strip mall. Once inside, the shop is clean, uses the space well, and is easy to follow. They have well lit display cases that they must fill fresh every day. There flagship baked good however, is not on display(there are photographs on the walls). After my first bite of the señorita bread, It made sense why they do not actively showcase the star of their ensemble.
The señorita bread must undergo an accouchement that only an elite pâtissier is capable of. It arrives on the counter at baking temperature, well packaged, and breathing a bakeries aroma. The moment it touches your finger tips, the supple but fluffy composition jump starts your salivary glands. Its sweet buttery belly introduces you to a billowy body of what the best tasting bread should taste like. Don’t be fooled a package of 10 for $4.00 will vanish into thin air, even if it is just a solo affair.
If you have been blessed with the opportunity to make it out to Honolulu, Hawaii… the Liliha Bakery Diner offers a butter roll with their entrées that tastes like a carbon copy of the Señorita Bread!
Peace, and good eats!

This bakery has the best sweet bread you will ever try in your life. This is quite a big deal affirmative. Everyone I know that tries the senhorita breads from this place, goes crazy about it and always ask me to get some more. The bread melts in your mouth and it feels incredibly amazing specially if it is fresh and warm. Believe me, this is a game changer in your life. If you have never tried, do not do it. You will be hooked for life and get 50 pounds on it. Haha

Welcome discovery looking for doughnuts found something even better. Senoritas at Starbread. Soft rolled yeast raised dough with butter and sugar. They also have fresh baked Malasadas filled with various cream and fruit fillings, sweet cornbread, mochi doughnuts with varying flavors and a bunch of other baked treats. Super friendly staff.

Apparently a local chain – specialty: “Hot” Senorita Bread – a dough rolled with butter and sugar. I had picked a pastry filled with mango and was going to skip the Senorita bread, and till all the other customers said, “yes, yes, you have to try”; and so I did. The smallest bag is 5, so I planned to try one and leave the rest for later – but you can’t eat just one. Friendly service, and a variety of goodies, make this a place to return to over and over.
