This is how they serve a French dip. Horrible service. Dingy and dirty, the lighting is all old and most of the pink lights don’t work. This place is long over due for a scrub down, removal of the fake flowers and broken lighting.

I’m seriously surprised. I went here as a kid and always felt like it wasn’t very good, but they must’ve changed chefs because now the food is great! I got the breakfast burrito and it was awesome. The ratio of eggs and veggies was perfect, it felt very healthy, and it tasted amazing. Great improvement, I’m definitely coming back again.

Classic American diner complete with a fun, spit-fire waitress. Food was good, a little on the pricey side, but maybe normal for the area. Seemed like a real locals place, which made it even better for us as tourists.

I think of this place as a run down Denny’s. Menu includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner fresh pies and alcohol served. Order breakfast food is plain no seasoning at all. Server was friendly. Place really needs a deep cleaning and some TLC bathrooms are horrible someone needs to wash the floors. Won’t return

I tried the star burger with potato salad side. It was tasty. But the portion of salad was skimpy compared to the huge pile of fries the person dining with me got for thier side. Staff was friendly, attentive, and the food arrived in a timely manner. The environment was tidy, clean, but a bit dated looking. What more could one ask for downtown Novato?
