Star Pizzeria’s lahmacun and simit bagel are absolutely the best—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Their soups are excellent, comforting, and full of flavor. And the pides? Simply amazing! I called 15 minutes before arriving and placed my order. They never mentioned any delay . The order took one full hour to prepare. I was forced to wait that long with my child, who was hungry. Their excuse was being short-staffed, which they should have told me upfront. Completely unacceptable and very unprofessional.

Came here one night with a friend, and was really excited to try this place. I love Turkish food, and was really impressed when I saw this place even had Turkish breakfast. I ordered a doner sandwhich, and split the Lahmacun. The doner was a tad dry, which was disappointing. However, the Lahmacun was bursting with flavor– I was surprised! Considering this place is a “pizzeria,” I’ll come back and stick to the Pides.

After struggling with some of the big pizza restaurants, I opted to try this neighborhood option and was solely disappointed. Ordering online was easy and the communication regarding pickup time was good. Unfortunately, I did not check the pizza when I picked it up and found that they left off the pepperoni I added for $1.50. I also saw that they added a facilities charge to the bill. I even added a tip to the pickup order which I now regret. The pizza dough was just average but the pizza had a metallic taste to it. Perhaps it was the sauce. Overall, a disappointing experience which I will not repeat.
