We ordered tom yum, fried duck, thai green tea and all of them were soooo great! They were tasty and worth it. The place was clean, spacious, so that would be great for having dinner and enjoying a nice evening conversation with friends or family. The service was nice too. The staffs were friendly and helpful. They dress nicely and well mannered. I could say this thai restaurant is great!

Star of Siam is back and better than ever! The recent renovation is beautiful—bright, clean, and very welcoming—while still keeping the cozy feel we love. The food is as fresh and delicious as always, with a great variety of dishes to choose from. I especially love the lunch specials, but dinner here is always a treat too. So happy to have this local favorite reopened and thriving!

Under new ownership & BETTER THAN EVER!!! The whole restaurant has been remodeled so beautifully with modern touches, yet is such a warm and inviting space. The food was absolutely delicious, easily the best Thai food in Santa Cruz County!!!! Prices were very reasonable and portion sizes were large!

The original Star of Siam used to be our go-to when I lived in Soquel. But I was sad and leery to hear about it shutting down.
Welp, the new rendition of Star of Siam is better than ever!
Not only is the decor beautiful, the chairs/seats are comfortable, the staff is friendly and the food comes out quick!
The portions are big, they have alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages and the flavors are authentic.
Having traveled recently in Thailand and Laos, I was craving their food and it hit the spot.
From the Larb to the homemade chili oil, I look forward to trying more items.

Medical Unicorn
Really confused by the positive reviews unless they were written by staff or friends. The restaurant is extremely dated and dark. It’s uninviting and looks like it opened 45 years ago.
There is one person working and she’s doing everything so customers have to wait including takeout customers.
I ordered my food online for takeout and received a confirmation via email that I ordered but nothing was received when my food was ready. It’s incredibly difficult to pull into the parking lot when other cars are on the road — especially if you’re trying to make a left into the lot. I had to drive all the way three times and go all over to be able to pull in.
It took awhile for the one staff member to acknowledge me though I could see my to-go bag on the table. No napkins, no utensils, no sauce packets so make sure you’re getting your food to go home and eat.
The FOOD:
The Drunken noodles were a one star at best. No flavor, no sauce, no taste and definitely not spicy.
The spring rolls were okay but not great. Wasn’t a fan of the peanut sauce.
The garlic eggplant should’ve come with rice but didn’t. The worst part is how expensive it all was. Definitely not worth it.

My place to go with my best friend! Delicious fresh Spring rolls! Food is delicious, nourishes body and feel healthy after a good meal there. The environment is serene, peaceful. Service is great.

I got the Star Lettuce Wraps. This is Superb food, bursting with flavor and texture ♾️
I recommend this dish to anyone, vegetarian (sub tofu) or otherwise. I had to pay complements to the chef. To top it off, the Thai ice tea, with the added boba , was chef’s kiss.
The atmosphere was wonderful as well. The soft background music was soothing and grooving
