However, I went today for the first time in months and found myself disappointed bc I had issue after issue.
I was there for the buffet, and when I was asked what I would like to drink I ordered tea. It took several attempts to communicate that I want Darjeeling tea, in the end just saying “hot tea” got the point across. Then the staff member completely forgot my order, and when my companion reminded him that I still hadn’t gotten my drink, he ran to the back and said it will be one moment. I didn’t get my drink until as we were about to leave.
The other – more upsetting – thing was I ordered peshwari naan, and was super excited because it’s my favorite type of naan. I ordered it to go so I could snack on it later. I paid $6 for naan that was definitely not peshwari. I’ve attached photos of it and the description they have for their peshwari. It was horrindous. It tasted like peanuts, had no fruit and was soggy. Their menu description said it is a naan with herbs, fruits and nuts. But it had no fruit, green leaves that had no taste and the nuts had to be peanuts, which is not what is usually used in peshwari and made for a truly gross taste.
In the end, I wonder if it was another naan bread they may have accidentally gave me, but no other naan on the menu mentions nuts so I doubt this is the case.
Overall, their food is very good, and so is their service on a usual visit. But I would highly NOT recommend the peshwari.
The only drawback was the biryani—it tasted more like methi rice than traditional biryani. While it was still flavorful, the spice level we requested as medium felt milder than expected.
And then, of course, the food — absolutely outstanding! Every dish was bursting with authentic flavor and beautifully presented. Each bite felt like a celebration of traditional Indian cooking with a modern touch.
Excellent food, impeccable service, and a warm atmosphere — it’s everything you could ask for in a dining experience.
The service was amazing, we were greeted warmly, seated. They brought some food right away for us to snack on. The menu has options for everyone’s tastes. I got the Butter Chicken and my boyfriend got the Star Special Mixed Grill entree. They were served with rice. Both were SO GOOD. We also got the Garlic Naan. All amazing. I also got the Mango Lassi, very tasty.
Throughout the meal we had several servers come to the table and check on us. We never had to wait for water or flag anyone down. This place was surprisingly upscale.
We live 13 hours away or we would be regulars at this place.
It was some of the best Indian food I have ever had and I have been to a lot of places all over this country.
