About as authentic as you can expect. Most of their business is carry out and the atmosphere when dining in shows it -that’s why they have the buffet. Try one of everything, even the carnivores will be ordering vegetarian with their side of meat.

I wish I could rate it a 4.5 because that is more accurate. The staff was kind and checked in on me appropriately. The food was just fantastic. I went chicken tikka masala for my first official Indian cuisine (a classic) and it was wonderful. I look forward to returning.

I enjoy eating here! Great food, great price, and great service. The staff is always super kind and helpful. Vegetarian options are plentiful! The buffet is back on Fridays and Saturdays, and it is an incredible value for the options on the buffet. I pick Star of India over most other establishments at lunch because the service is quick, the price is great, and it feels like a home cooked meal!
