Star of India is a hidden gym nestled in the Peachtree City area. . The food is truly tasty. There is a good variety of vegetarian as well as chicken items on the menu. The staff was friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere very relaxing. I particularly enjoyed the outdoor patio, as it was a perfect overcast day for outdoor dining. I definitely recommend Star of India’s lunch buffet.

The Tandoori was very delicious and so was the onion naan. The atmosphere was lacking a bit. It’s as if you’re walking into any regular restaurant. When the food is definitely not regular. lf they can work on the atmosphere and ambience they will check all of the boxes. The waitress was very pleasant and greeted us with a smile. I would recommend anyone to try them out.

I absolutely love this place. I always try to get to the buffet, which is between 11 am and 2:30 during the week. Great Nan bread, Saag Paneer, Chicken Tikki Masala, love it. If you love Indian food, I couldn’t recommend this place more. Please tip well.

I stopped in and was pleasantly surprised there was a lunch buffet. The food all tasted pretty good so I tried a number of different dishes that I might not have normally ordered, although I was really hoping for something spicy. The server was quick to seat me but didn’t come back around to check and see if I needed anything- which was fine since I had the buffet which included chai tea. The problem came shortly after I left- I nearly didn’t make it home (~10mins) before I had some fierce digestive issues. Once I was completely empty, I was a noodle for the rest of the day. Next time, I won’t be as adventurous I want to try a new restaurant.

If you do like to waste your money totally then think of this place. We ordered chicken and mutton (goat) biriyani and they simply served fried rice instead! Have you ever seen pieces of bell peppers in biriyani? When we asked them about this they even misbehaved. Additionally, only for providing some extra butter chicken gravy they charged us $10.

We ate from the buffet. It was just mediocre. The lentil soup was the worst soup I’ve ever had. The food from the buffet was simply missing flavor and bland. The butter chicken tasted like butter, it was the only flavor profile that the sauce had. We just expected more.

I was in this town for a soccer camp, I ordered a take out from their website. As an Indian (desi) food foodie, I would never eat here. Whatever I ordered was completely tasteless (veg & non-veg, even from tandoor)! Barely any spices or no option of how spicy you want from the website. Completely disappointing, I understand servicing non-Indians looking for mild flavors but why not provide more options to your own community. I wouldn’t recommend anyone as a reference, if you’re desi, bring your own food from home or drive to Decatur for better options. Sorry but not sorry folks.

I’m incredibly glad to decide to get dinner here. The Mulligatawny soup and lamb korma were delicious. Definitely worth five stars.

Absolutely delicious and highly recommend! Chicken Tikka masala was so fresh and flavorful, so delicious. We also got the dal tadka since I’m a garlic/lentil fan and it was fantastic. The garlic naan was sooo good, flavorful and fresh. Will absolutely be back!

Worst experience of eating Indian dishes. Chicken biryani and Goat biryani tasted not even like fried rice let alone the flavored Indian biryani. This so called biryani aka fried rice would be more tastier in the Chinese buffet restaurant. At least an experience to not visit this place again.
