Star Lounge is one of our favourite locally owned restaurants in the northern greater Cincinnati suburbs. Star and her family run a fantastic place with equally fantastic food. Five stars all across the board!
Their Chow Mein has to be some of the tastiest I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying, such rich flavours and spice to delight, and my partner loves their Chicken Tikka Masala. Their naan is out of this WORLD! The pictures truly do speak for themselves, but anyone who loves great food and great atmosphere should do themselves a favour and visit here soon!
Not only do we love their vibes and their food, but they also have the best spot to play some casual pool and an amazing back patio space to host friends and family alike. Being so close to the Miami-Erie Canal bike path is a stellar bonus! Visit Stare Lounge and you will have a grand experience inside and out, and you’ll be back soon for another visit. I promise!

I love Star Lounge. Met Star and her husband when they first started out here- sweetest and hardest working couple. The food is always hot and fresh. My favorite is the pork fried rice and the Chicken Tikka Masala. Try the Almond Joy made with Disarrono- can’t get enough of it! The other cocktails are tasty as well! They are so accomodating and they even have live music on Saturdays! You will not regret your experience!

We went very early in the afternoon. The drinks were on point and refreshing. We ordered a variety of items. From appetizers to main courses. The flavor was excellent. The Tandoori chicken was excellent along with the Sag Paner. My only issue was with the rice. Maybe it was us and early as they had just opened for the day, but the rice was undercooked. The bread was magnificent. The oven bread was so delicious. I had to go back just to get that alone.

For Real Though
We wanted to try it, went a couple weeks ago, looks like a cool pub but not good on any level. If Indian food is your goal, it is sub par. A short distance away there are fantastic Indian places like Om India and Indian Fusion (2 minutes up the road), with Udon Thai next door… all three of those places well worth the money. The bar food we had was equally as bad and all of it over priced. The atmosphere was uncomfortable and awkward… no music playing, no one talking and stuffy. We waited 45 minutes for our food in a somber/quiet room even though there were only 3 other guests. The server was friendly, we appreciate that but had to ask many times for things. To sum it up: In these times money is short, if you can go out, try somewhere else.

Being from Ohio, I’ve seen some great lounges, and Star Lounge & Bar definitely stands out! The atmosphere is modern and cozy, the staff are super friendly, and the service is top-notch.

I didn’t know about this place until my Auntie Layna invited me to go here for dinner. The food was really good. My favorite items were the Gobi/cauliflower Manchurian and the Saag Paneer. I can’t handle the spice, so I appreciated that when I wanted the Saag Paneer to have a spice level of 0, they were able to accommodate that. The waiter was very helpful, patient, and congenial. I will be back to try more items!
