The historic building of the Star Lounge was a social gathering ground for almost one hundred years. Our Midtown Sacramento Lounge carries on the tradition of being a community incubator of creativity, an oasis of thought, and a great place to unwind. A place for all to come together and celebrate the arts, music, food, and a great cocktail. We are located on the 3rd floor of the Hyatt House.

The ambiance of this place is fantastic. Perfect place to bring a date. We got there before sun came down and there was a few people in there. Towards the end of our service, the place practically filled up.
The appetizers is fantastic. Got the duck liver moose. The bread they gave us was perfectly toasted and the moose was soft. The mains were a bit disappointing. The fish was a bit over salted but it paired well with the salad they put on top. My friend got the chicken and it was juicy but it was a chicken loaf.
The drinks were superb and I would come back here for bar service.
Great place for appetizers and drinks. Will probably try a different side next time I’m here.

Nice date night/girls night spot, dark and cozy. Great customer service! I wished I got a bigger cut of chicken for the price (forgot to take pic) my friend got the pork and it seemed like her plate was loaded with meat. Got the shrimp appetizer. Food was good overall and drinks!

Star Lounge is fabulous! It is like a secret club in mid town Sacramento. You go up to the third floor to a warm and inviting atmosphere. There is a full bar and gourmet food! Friendly and attentive servers! The best part is the live music, this night they had a pianist and a harp player, take your date here for a romantic evening!

Really great experience at this hidden gem in Sacramento. Our large group ordered two of every appetizer and at least one of every entree, and every single dish was unique and delicious. The bartender was knowledgeable and the rest of the staff were fantastic. Highly recommend for an intimate dinner with great food and drink.

This upscale bar and restaurant sits above a hotel. Everything about this place is classy. Dimmed lighting with plenty of seating, including at the bar. Some truly amazing drinks, served by an awesome staff. Now the food is a different story. Brought some out-of-town friends here and we decided to order food. Beyond being a bit pricy, was just alright. I should have sent the shrimp back, because they were passed there due date. Overall, great place for drinks, but they should improve the menu and offer some more appetizers.

I had dinner at the Star Lounge recently and really enjoyed the entire experience. The space is beautiful, warm, and comfortable, and the atmosphere made it a great place to unwind. My food came out fresh and well-prepared, and the flavors were balanced without feeling overly heavy. This was our first night in Sacramento, and we wanted something simple and stunning to drink. This is the place to go. Not only is the atmosphere amazing. The drinks were absolutely top-notch. The staff were absolutely amazing, attentive, and kind. We went for happy hour, and I was simply blown away. If you are looking for a high scale place with great food and amazing drinks. This is the place. Our waiter was amazing and so refined. I don’t know who the guy was who brought me the candles. But thank you!!

Dark & moody drinks or date spot. I can’t comment on prices bc I was there for a Yelp event, but the space is cool, drinks are good, and food was definitely tasty. I tried to reserve a table for Valentine’s Day but it was booked up before January (!), which makes sense.
