Pork chili momos were the best I’ve ever had. Lamb vindaloo was great, tender and flavorful. Butter chicken delicious, mango lassi was BOMB. Can’t wait to try other things on the menu. Owner is very sweet! Everything is reasonably priced.

Food was very very flavorful. We had two versions of the lamb…one with rice and one as dumplings. Both were seasoned very well. I have been to India several times as an American. This food was authenic and well prepared.
The space is not really sufficient for comfortable dining in but the chef was very gracious and engaging with us.

Very authentic Nepalese cuisine, great for a cold winter night or any occasion. High quality food that is very delicious. Do yourself a favor and check this place out. Geared mostly for take out, but they do have a couple tables. Very quick turnaround and a great selection of options. The folks who run this establishment are really nice people as well!

Probably the best ethnic food in Barre right now! Reasonably sized portions, and low prices compared to the rest of the Indian restaurants in the area. I’m a huge fan of the fried rice! The pakora were a little hard/ very onion-y, and the samosa’s were very herby which was a little off-putting.
After a few visits I’ve found it’s hard to get consistent food. They keep adding things to the rice, which isn’t ideal for someone who doesn’t love everything.

Excellent – so happy to have some Indian+Nepali food available in Barre. We did a ‘test order’ the other day – a bit of everything. All turned out great. I had never tried ‘Chili Momo’ before and gave it a shot as it seemed like a specialty item for the place – turned out great, probably my favorite from what we ordered. Will be back!
One note: if you like spicy food, you’ll likely have to request things to be spicy explicitly. I understand things being non-spicy by default, as this is Vermont, but usually at least Vindaloo would have some ‘default kick’ to it

Good experience. The dish I received wasn’t what was described on the menu, I went in for an exchange and the staff was quick and willing to find a solution. Samosas were good and good prices for portions!

The momos are incredibly delicious, especially the chili chicken! But all of the dumplings are amazing!
