During my visit to Star Asian Restaurant, one thing that really stood out was the large aquarium in the dining area. A big fish tank can be a great feature and add to the atmosphere when it’s properly maintained. Unfortunately, the tank currently appears to be in very poor condition.
The water is very green and cloudy, there is visible algae buildup on the glass, and the gravel and decorations inside the tank look dirty. Because the aquarium is large and placed where customers can clearly see it, it unfortunately gives the impression that it has not been cleaned or maintained in quite some time. For many guests, seeing something like this can raise concerns about overall cleanliness, even if the kitchen and food are perfectly fine.
Aquariums can be beautiful when cared for, but they do require regular cleaning, filtration maintenance, and water changes. If there are fish living in the tank, proper maintenance is also important for their health.
I say this respectfully and as constructive feedback: the restaurant should either properly clean and maintain the aquarium or consider removing it entirely. In its current state, it unfortunately detracts from the otherwise pleasant dining environment. With some attention, this could easily become a nice feature instead of something that leaves a negative impression.

My husband stopped by here to grab some food, was ABSOLUTLY TERRIBLE! Noodles were super thick and slimy, might as well have ordered onions…was hardly any beef in our entree. NOT AT ALL WORTH THE MONEY WE SPENT. Couldn’t even get full. So much money wasted. Best thing was the fortune cookie. WILL NEVER RETURN!

PORTIONS… I recently visited Star Asian Cafe and was blown away by the quality of the food and the service. The restaurant has a nice ambiance and the staff is very friendly and attentive (Thank you Marina). I ordered the general TSO chicken and it was delicious. The rice was a good addition and the sauce was flavorful without being too spicy. I also tried the egg drop soup and it was fresh and delicious. Overall, I highly recommend Star Asian Cafe to anyone looking for great Asian cuisine in the area.”

I got the orange chicken. The restaurant should’ve use the plate with divider to separate the rice from the sauce because the sauce is making the rice soggy. The chicken is fresh and juicy but the sauce is too watery.

Excellent customer service. We we greeted when we walked in. The gentleman who served us was very knowledgeable of the meals served here. We ordered appetizers and were stuffed. Generous portions and lots of fresh vegetables. We definitely recommend Star Asian Cafe. We were very pleased with everything.

Their food is good. We were the only ones inside the place, but we came in the middle of the afternoon (245pm). The host / waiter was very solum. He was prompt with order, bring food / drinks. Just not very social or welcoming. Not rude, just didn’t smile or say much. Plain atmosphere. Will return because they do make good General Tso Chicken.
