Talk about a real gem in the rough. My S.O. and I would have never considered Stanwood would be hiding such a delightful treat of a restaurant in its downtown offerings. Our service was spectacular and the food had fresh takes that weren’t following the lastest internet trend. The menu seemed to contain genuine attempts at creating unique twists on some classics that are original. The bonus for me was that they clearly have a good thermometer in the kitchen because they were able to correctly produce a steak to my requested doneness. I know that might sound ridiculous but in my experience that’s hard to find. Everything exceeded our expectations in food freshness and quality. We both walked out of the restaurant brimming with compliments about our meal. If we find ourselves in the area again it will be difficult to ignore this as an option again. This place was amazing beautifully finished wood interior, a fancy yet upbeat atmosphere, and just the right touch of homey vibes. Kat was incredible — full of great energy with the perfect balance of professionalism and warmth. ♡ We ordered the ahi tuna, whiskey bourbon prawns, and blackened salmon with mango habanero, rice, and asparagus. My SO had the New York steak with potatoes and asparagus. We also enjoyed the blackberry mules, which had an amazing smoky flavor.
Everything was cooked to perfection, the flavors absolutely blew us away, and our server truly elevated the entire experience. Highly recommend!

Came here for a girls night. They sold us the burger special. It was delicious! The staff was lovely. The atmosphere was great for conversation.
We had a reservation so we didnt wait, but it seemed their were a few open tables for walk ins. Also, the cocktails were delicious!

I don’t want dump on a local favorite that’s been around a long time, but this place was very disappointing. It does have a cool atmosphere, but it’s lacking in a couple fundamental areas. Our server was very nice, but inattentive. A couple times she walked away before we could ask her something. We watched our food sit, plated and ready from the kitchen, for about 10 minutes before we were served, while others that came in after us were served. My ribeye was fine, but frankly no better than Sizzler. My wife said her Grill Burger tasted good, but was cold. And, as trivial as it may read, what’s with having to ask for salt & pepper? If it’s an aesthetic thing about having them sitting out on the table, maybe rethink that. Based on my experience, it would probably be best to have them readily available. Maybe it was a bad night, but I wouldn’t recommend.

This place has a definite charm, and the staff is incredibly inviting and friendly making the experience comforting. The flavor of the honey mustard glaze on the pork chop was incredible, and the honey bourbon prawns are so delicious. They had great cocktails and the wine flight was wonderful. We’re excited we found this gem in Stanwood.

Nice place in old East Stanwood. Very comfortable. Good service and very accommodating! Wedge salad (small size) was solid and plates were very chilled. Burgers got rave reviews (why don’t more places do a blended burger of mushrooms & beef?). Fries were decent. We were ones in the place when we left at 8. A good option for dinner in Stanwood

Steak was undercooked. I ordered a medium rare and it came rare. Normally the Fidalgo coffee is fabulous but tonight it was so strong and bitter. It was so loud with a group of 8 people behind us I had a hard time caring on a conversation with our friends. As much as I like this place I think we will try another restaurant in the future.
