We enjoyed our breakfast as the food was fresh and cooked perfectly. We ordered the #3 breakfast which includes 2 huge pancakes which were delicious. There was so much food we had to take some home. The waitress was friendly and attentive. The restaurant was well maintained and it has the 1950’s vibe.

Idk what happened, this used to be a regular place to eat good classic breakfast Sunday mornings, but recently it’s different. The food was just not it, it doesn’t taste the same and by that I mean it lost all flavor and taste. Ordering I had to repeat myself multiple times to get my order down, it was an veggie omelette with wheat toast. My significant other’s food was appauling to even look at, eggs weren’t fully cooked and his sauce for it was the equivalent to watered down salt with a dash of lemon. Wish it was back to how it was, for the same price I could have gone somewhere else local like farmers and could have gotten way better food. I’m sorry but after the past couple of times trying it recently again as a local I will not be going here anymore

I’ve come here a few times. each time thinking maybe it was just the type of meal I picked that was the problem. But unfortunately it is all the same.
The food has very little flavor and taste. The coffee is way to expensive for it being mostly watery. They also charge $3:50 for a small cup of cheap green tea. These two things really need to be brought down in price.
It is also pretty cold in the building. I would turn up the heat to make it more comfortable.
That was my last time with the Stanwood cafe.
Take my advice and go to Waynes Corner Cafe! It’s small, but very cozy and delicious.

If you like old school small town diners, this is your kind of place. Basic menu items but prepared just right. Vintage decor, booth seating and waitress table service adds to the vibe. Sometimes there’s a bit of a waiting but well worth it. The place can be busy for good reason. One of the best places to get a great breakfast meal around.

Just gross. We should’ve left when we saw the floors were covered in crumbs and mystery stains, filthy/sticky booths, the cracks in the wall, and the creepy political decor. I ordered a breakfast sandwich, my partner ordered the “homemade” corned beef hash and a coffee. The food took 30 minutes to be prepared. There were only 3 other tables sat in the restaurant, one which already had food. My partner was served his lukewarm coffee while we waited, but when he tried to add creamer, all the creamers on the table were expired and coagulated. The server didn’t even take away the bowl of expired creamers.
His corned beef hash was from a clearly can and undercooked (he had a few bites but his stomach was not happy later that night). My sandwich arrived with hairs cooked IN it (thank goodness I cut it in half, which revealed the hair…). Just under $50 for all 3 items.

First the coffee had dirt floating on top. Then the cream was rotten and just a solid chunck of goo. It took 30mins and it was not busy. Canned corn beef was not edible, basically dog food warmed up. My fiancé had a hair in her sandwich. And its just a filthy , weird place.

Absolutely amazing cafe! A must-visit just west of I-5 in downtown Stanwood. Service was friendly and fast, and the food was incredible!

Patty is by far one of the best waitresses. We love eating here, especially when she is working.
