The food is not edible. Ordered a country fried steak. It was a frozen patty microwaved. Fries tasted like they were left over and just warmed up dry and hard. The whole meal was warm at best so nothing was made fresh.

Ms. Rose was fabulous and the food was delicious. Great portion and the prices were so affordable. We arrived late and there last guests out but they treated us as we were at home, no rush at all.

I was originally going to go to Martin’s BBQ in Spring Hill. But they refused to tell me the side dishes over the phone. So I decided to come out here to Stan’s and sit down if I was going to have to go inside some place anyway. I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while and I was craving catfish bad. Perfect timing. Catfish on the bone was the special of the day. Delicious! I even had leftovers for dinner. Awesome.

Asked the waitress if the burgers were good. She said yes so we got burgers, one with fries and one with onion rings. Worse food I have ever eaten. Burgers were burned, onion rings were greasy. The highlight was the sweet tea which was really good. Never again, !

My husband and I went there for the first time Sunday morning while we were coming home from a trip. Service was good and the waitress was nice. I had the bacon cheese omelet, hashbrowns, biscuit and baked cinnamon apples. It was all good. My husband had the hillbilly breakfast which was fried eggs, hashbrowns, a large slice of ham and a biscuit with gravey. He thought the ham was little salty but other than that he enjoyed his meal. I thought their prices were a little high but they do give you large portions.

This was a treasure to happen up on while traveling from Birmingham. The very BEST homemade onion rings ive had in ages!!!

I’d like to say this was a homestyle version of a “Cracker Barrel” with food that blew CB out of the water. Service was a bit spotty, but I’d say right in line with some of the other places that seem to be understaffed.

Fried green tomatoes were cut way too thick. Slice them thinner for more crispness.
And serve with some Cajun sauce instead of the typical ranch dressing.
The Mushroom Swiss burger had a good char on it. Mushrooms had a good earthy flavor.
Crackling cornbread had 1 piece of crackling in it. I wanted so much more. Good flavor though.
Had to hunt down my server to pay my check. She was really great though- courteous.
