Ordered a Touchdown and 5 meatballs! Let’s just say, I had to settle for the field goal.
So much delicious food I took home! Maybe 3oz of the brisket and 1 bratwurst (plus 5 meatballs) was all I could get through.
You also get 2 sides. I chose the creamed corn and potato salad. Both are great palate cleansers along with the included two hamburger buns (I only got through half of one.) You ALWAYS need a good palate cleanser with anything BBQ.
The flavors of the bratwurst + brisket were smokey, flavorful, and cooked well!
The meatballs were a combination pork/beef, mixed with peppers and onions. Those didn’t overwhelm the meat, but *accentuated* the flavor of pork and beef meatballs! The texture was perfect! I’d recommend easy on the sauce that goes on top to really taste that flavor.
As an individual, you WILL have leftovers–and that is a great thing!
Atmosphere is low-key on a Sunday evening, seat yourself, and enjoy! I chose the booth. The bar is also well-stocked… but that fight will be for another day.

But yes, this is a good family spot too! In old town Issaquah, this is a laid-back area with easy parking! Drop on by!

The was delicious. Very good menu with lots of choices. I had the fullback which included half a chicken, 4ribs, 2 sides. My friend had the chief which included brisket, 4ribs and 2 sides. The quantities were large we both took leftovers home. My sides were baked beans and potato salad. My friend had cream corn and baked beans..after tasting the corn I wish I had ordered it instead of potato salad. Wish I lived closer I would eat here a lot. Plus service was excellent

This place was empty on a Wednesday at 1 P.M., only 3 other people showed up while we were there. The only reason we can think of is the atmosphere and the food prices because everything else was perfect! We ordered a combo plate each. The food was served relatively quickly hot, juicy and well presented.
My wife did end up sending the “Mac and Cheese” back as the pasta was way overcooked to the point of mushiness. The bread is a slice of store sliced bread and not made in house. The baby back ribs were meaty and they gave us both one extra. The brisket was hot, juicy perfectly cooked and smoked. Potato salad was good, but on the sweet side, coleslaw chunky cut but nicely dressed. The sauces provided was a home run, both the sweet and the spicy.
If you are finicky about properly cooked/smoked ribs, this is your go to place! Parking close was easy behind the restaurant, but….unless you are a Kansas City Chiefs football fan, the decor will disappoint and doesn’t prove to be comfortable. Bathroom are OK if you don’t mind unisex. They are a little stingy with the little cups of bbq sauce. And removing charges to your order proves challenging for there computer software. For the money they are charging for this food, some upgrades are in order.

First time visiting, we ordered Linebacker because we can try both brisket and pull pork. The two sides were coleslaw and cream corn. I like the spicy BBQ sauce. It added more favor to the meat. The brisket pieces were thick and I can use the fork to cut them into pieces. I did not taste smoke flavor on the meat. I just added a lot of bbq sauce. The coleslaw was okay. Cream corn, the corn seems old but the cream was good. The serving side could be little more. They have most of NFL games which was nice. Price is typical BBQ place $18-$20 for sandwiches. The combo is $35-$50. The service was good. She was very sweet. Parking is in the back. The inside feels like other sport bar but serve Kansas City bbq.

Disappointing. We walked in on a whim from a delicious smell as we passed by outside. I have no idea what we smelled that was so good. We ordered burnt ends and smoked meatballs. Of course they were really barbecued, but on flavor alone, I honestly couldn’t tell if they had any contact with barbecue smoke. No smoky flavor at all. Very heavy on the sweet barbecue sauce. Sides were small and bland. Service wasn’t particularly good either. I really like to try and see the best in the places I visit, but the only appeal that I could find here is maybe it’s a nice bar to watch sports with some friends. They also charge extra for credit card usage. They call this out, so it’s not a surprise, but wanted to give a heads up in the review.

Food was amazing best BBQ I have had since coming to Washington but that’s where it ends. You can tell a lot about a restaurant by how they treat someone eating alone. Three tables sat after me and all got menus and drinks before I was even able to order- some got their food as well. I had to flag down someone to even be able to order and was told “um ya I guess you can order but it will be a while since there is tickets in front of you” after being there for 40 minutes did I finally get to order. Was also completely ignored after getting my food and I had to flag someone down for a refill but they were suddenly very attentive when it came time for the bill and thus the tip. Shame that I had such a terrible experience because the food was really good and I would have liked it to have been a place I go to regularly

I really enjoyed the feint sight and smell of wonderful real wood hickory hanging in the air as we walked in. The atmosphere is down to earth, staff were very friendly in a “you’re family” warm kind of way, and I was impressed by the bar collection but was unable to try a drink due to working/lunch break. As for the food, everything was fantastic, one of the more proper BBQ Washington has to offer, great smoke flavor, texture, juiciness, even salt level was on point, also worth noting that they have some of the best baked beans I’ve ever had. loadedwith pork and spices,they’re next level. The only reason I give 4 stars is because they are very pricey for the quantity. Is stans awesome? Yes. 100%. are they $31 per lunch awesome? No…. I’d happily pay $18-20 in this area for the quality and quantity once in a while but not on the regular. Otherwise I have only good things to say about the place.

Excellent BBQ! The best pulled pork I’ve had. The ribs were cooked well and the meat fell off the bone. Do yourself a favor and get the creamed corn as your side.
Our waitress was stellar and kept me tipped off in tea and BBQ sauce.
