First, the service was outstanding, Second, Food was excellent, Third, you have to checkout the vintage Urinals in the Men’s Bathroom, talk about old school!
Cheese Curds are a must buy for any meal!
Upon arriving, we entered through the patio area. A sign was near the patio entrance talking about not allowing aggressive dogs, that was all we really paid attention to. Below that a sandwich board with menu details and a dog face drawn on it. We entered through the patio entrance and looked around at the tables. One of the staff said in a stern tone “you need to walk through to the front to be seated. The sign over there had arrows for the ramp to the door” and she hustled away, fully annoyed. We walked through past the bar and finally saw the host stand. From there, good service and seating.
When we left, we went to see the sign with the arrows we missed. There were TINY arrows at the bottom of the sandwich board sign talking about menu items and while the tiny arrows pointed to the ramp, it also pointed to the large patio entrance it was placed right next to.
We did follow two gentleman through the patio area so honestly, we are sure the gal who spoke to us probably had to direct a lot of people. Still, her tone was not appreciated and we debated even staying.
Perhaps the sandwich board should be pulled forward in front of the patio exit with LARGER arrows pointing to the ramp. The top of the board should say EXIT with large arrows and something that says “ramp to hostess stand”.
People would figure it out much easier then.
From the moment we walked into Stanley’s, it was clear we were in for something special — but what we got was next-level amazing.
Let’s start with the food. INCREDIBLE doesn’t even begin to cover it. the kind of meal where you pause mid-bite just to appreciate how good it is. And the Bloody Marys? Legendary. Bold, perfectly balanced, and dangerously delicious. Honestly, they deserve their own fan club.
The atmosphere is just as impressive — warm, welcoming, vibrant, and comfortable. It’s the kind of place where you instantly relax and settle in. And as dog parents, we were absolutely thrilled. Not only is Stanley’s genuinely dog-friendly (not just “tolerant”), but the doggy menu is FABULOUS. Yes, fabulous. Our pup felt just as spoiled and celebrated as we did. Being able to dine comfortably with our dog without feeling like an inconvenience is such a gift.
Now let’s talk about our server, Sleepers — an absolute superstar. From the start, Sleepers was personable, friendly, and genuinely engaging. They took the time to explain the rewards program clearly and enthusiastically, making it easy to understand and even exciting to join. It never felt scripted — just authentic, warm hospitality. Sleepers struck that perfect balance of attentive without hovering, professional yet completely approachable.
Stanley’s isn’t just a restaurant — it’s an experience. Incredible food. Incredible drinks. Incredible service. A fabulous dog-friendly vibe. And a team that clearly cares.
We will absolutely be back — and we’ll be bringing friends (and our dog) with us. ✨
Sat on the paw-tio as it was my dogs birthday and they brought her a fresh water bowl immediately. She enjoyed the boxer bites.
Staff was friendly and aware of not stepping on tails and didn’t seem to mind that my dog didn’t understand to stay on her yoga mat (provided by Stanleys after requested). It was a bit loud, but it was very busy. We didn’t feel rushed. Really great to be able to take furry family out to dinner with us. They have a pet menu even.
Only thing I would suggest is to ask if you can move the table away from the wall to place pet on that side so they won’t be in the way so much. (I did suggest this to Stanleys in a survey and they thanked me for the suggestion. I have not been back yet, so I can’t say if this has been improved upon yet.)
