We were on a road trip through Ponderosa Scenic Byway, through Sawtooth National forest and were looking for a local gem to get some coffee and breakfast. The original place we stopped had stopped serving breakfast and directed us to the Stanley Baking Cafe! Thank you for sending us! We LOVED it. I tried the oatmeal pancakes and was pleasantly surprised. They were so good!!! My husband got thr sourdough French toast. He thought they were great and raved over the sausage! We each had coffee. He had an Americano and I had a latte. They served them in real glass mugs which we appreciated!
We even bought a home made snickerdoodle and it was almost at good as mine! The service was fantastic and the food even better. We recommend this place to anyone traveling through!

The Crag breakfast sandwich is the bomb!
Everyone who works here is very friendly and accommodating and we were lucky enough to see Lily for breakfast after she had just served us dinner at the hotel the night before. Great place, get there early because the line starts around 9 AM and continues out into the street .

I’ve been known to plan entire travel itineraries just to be able to eat breakfast at Stanley Baking Company. Everything is so good. The staff is friendly. The atmosphere is homey and welcoming.

The food at Stanley Bakery is absolutely delicious—worth the stop for sure. I had the egg and beet breakfast, and it was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully done. The person who took my order was super friendly and greeted me graciously, which I appreciated right away.
However, the service staff left something to be desired. Their energy felt cold and distant, almost like I was an inconvenience just for being there. It definitely took away from the otherwise cozy, mountain-town café vibe.
There’s plenty of outdoor seating, which is a plus, but with temps over 90°F, more umbrellas or shade options would’ve made the experience more comfortable.
Still, for the food alone, I’d recommend stopping in—just know the service may not match the warmth of the meal.

Happened upon this establishment. Busy place, rated 4.8. Well that was not our experience. Sourdough French toast chewy, thin cut. Classic had burnt hashbrowns, sausage was the best item. Waitress started clearing table before spouse finished chewing last bite. Did not ask if I was finished and just took the plate. If you want a refill better ask or they take your glass and don’t come back. This will not be one to stop at again.

A true Gem for us when visiting Stanley.
Their coffee is organic and delicious! One of the best lattes I’ve had in a very long time.
They have gluten free bread and several gluten free baked treats available for those of us with allergies. For those without allergies, wow, those baked goods look AMAZING!
You can even get a custom cake made here. We had a vegan, gluten free chocolate cheesecake made to celebrate a birthday. It had a nut crust and the flavor was superb!
When we ate in, I got the we have the beets breakfast, it was fresh, felt healthy and was delicious. My husband had the eggs Benedict and liked his as well.
Definitely stop in for some good bites and even better service. The staff here is exceptional. We loved everyone we interacted with.
Also the water is great, super cold and great to fill your bottle with.

Long line, fast service. Showed up 7:30 am and it was already packed, but they move this line and there are a ton of seats inside and outside of this place! After we ordered inside , we sat down out back right away. Regular coffee has free refills, water is at the coffee station so you can help yourself, the Migas with sourdough was to die for, and the pancakes were crispy (a first for me). Local syrup and a container of mixed berry jam came with the pancakes. I got a cinnamon roll the size of my head to go and the CUTEST, funky, one-off hat to commemorates my trip. It’s worth the line. One of the best breakfasts I’ve had in my life.

Hometown bakery and cafe. Fast casual, and small town vibes with a humble heart and spirit. Very helpful staff, delicious breakfast, and baked goods to die for. We loved coming every morning for breakfast, the refillable cute mugs and table signs were adorable. Must go when visiting Stanley.

Stanley Baking Co is the perfect compliment to the small town of Stanley. We walked over for breakfast, stood in line to order, grabbed our silverware, found seats at a booth, and the made to order food came pretty fast. And it looked amazing, and was delicious!
Between the five of us we ordered two versions of the classic, French toast, Bakery granola, and a breakfast sandwich. All were tasty and so good. The staff were all friendly, polite, and helpful.
The front cabinet was filled with delicious looking pastries and other delicious goodies, would definitely want to try one of those next time.
