My sister in law has been trying to go to Stammtisch with her for years. We went on Sunday and had a lovely time.

The atmosphere feels like a proper pub. There is brick and wood and dark panels. All of the tap handles are fun to see.

There is some outdoor seating. The restaurant is set up in an L shape, so you don’t feel surrounded by people. It is cozy.

We set at the bar.

I went with the Andrechs’ Doppelbock. It was rich and full flavored. I did not need more than one.

I had a taste of all three doppelbocks on tap. There was no bad choice.

The Lentil Soup will bring me back.

The clams were everything you could want.

I will be back.

Beautiful restaurant and lovely staff. Our server was super helpful with my gluten-challenged friend and modified her order without changing the essence of her plate. We had to get the classic pork shoulder. Sometimes you just need a hearty German meal. The pork shoulder and schnitzel and beer were all good and rightfully in the spotlight but the hidden detail for me the authenticity of their sauerkraut and red cabbage sauerkraut. It was densely good and with character and unlike anything I’ve eaten from a jar. Healing.

Had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant. Very impressive German beer selections, and I highly recommend trying out their Schnitzel. One of the best I’ve had in PNW!

Also special shout out to John who did an amazing job serving us with beer and happiness. He’s professional and introduced us to Underberg. Very nice place and will come back again! Thank you John!

Had an absolutely wonderful dinner here. We ordered the pretzel, white wine steamed clams, wursts, and beer. Service was friendly and efficient.

The pretzel came with mustard, cheese, and schmaltz dips. I’d never had a pretzel come with schmaltz (chicken fat) before, and it was a delightful surprise how delicious it was.

The clams were cooked with a buttery white wine, garlic, and lightly sliced broth, which was again delightful.

The wursts came on a bed of warm sauerkraut.

10/10 experience, great ambiance, will definitely come back again in the future.

I wanted to try the wienerschnitzel and we were greeted and told first come first serve, we tried to sit at a table completely clear, no items and menus untouched looking and we were approached by a different waitress trying to say people were sitting there and that they had stepped out for a smoke. I said we were told first come first serve and she rolled her eyes and said if they came back she might honor them lol I said ok, she offered to open a tab and I only wanted one thing so I declined and paid outright for the food, that was brought out very brusquely by another staff member on a paper plate, my drink in a paper cup while everyone around had regular plates and silverware

I did not tip and will not be back, i could probably make what I had for much cheaper at home but I got what I wanted and it was decent for what it was, overpriced a bit (27$)

Next time I’ll go to Vancouver, to Gustav’s this place seems to be only for being obnoxious and cosplaying German culture with lots of beer ‍♀️ if that’s what you’re looking for have at it. I’ve heard Europe is full of rude service so maybe it’s too authentic for me

Authentically German with a incredible selection of beers. Decor is on point and food has great range from traditional to up scale done all really well.

Strudel is slightly Americanized and a touch too sweet.

We stopped here on a Friday for lunch. Cozy interior with a German pub vibe. Big selection of German beers on tap and in the bottle. We got a Rueben and shared. Delicious! Love they used sliced chunks of pastrami vs deli meat pastrami. The clams had a great garlic flavor.

This place was so good we went back for a second night to try more.

Service was outstanding.

Food was unbelievably well done.

Probably the best stop on a trip of 2 weeks in Oregon.
