Stalk is a culinary gem in Dover. From appetizers to dessert, every dish we had was excellent.
For starters, we had the Tuna Tartare and Stalk’s Street Tacos. The beautifully seasoned tartare melted in your mouth, while each bite of the tacos was bursting with flavour. Dinner continued with the Braised Wild Boar, which was paired with the freshest tagliatelle; and the East Coast Cod was a showcase of great technique: perfectly flaky and delicate, lightly crispy while still moist — it was probably the best execution of fried fish we’ve ever had.
We finished off our meal with a trio of desserts: the housemade ice cream, Sweet Corn Friand and an off-menu offering, the Dark Chocolate Pavlova. Any of the three are guaranteed to satiate a sweet tooth, but the ice cream (the featured flavour was tahini dark chocolate) was a pleasant surprise. In fact, it might have been our favourite among the desserts we ordered.
Overall, Stalk is a destination in itself. Amazing food, great service, beautiful interiors. We’re already looking to our next visit and trying the rest of the menu. Shout out to Gabriel for being such a wonderful host!

Simply incredible! Braised duck confit appetizer was mind-blowing from the first bite to the last, and let me know I was in for a treat with this meal.
Braised Wild Boar was made with house made pasta, and the balance and amount of boat to pasta was spot on, with just a hint of heat that brought it to another level.
Chocolate Profiterole had a beautifully creamy filling and all of the flavors melded together well.
Also had a few drinks, and the Fall Carrot Cake to go. Every bite and sip of this meal was spectacular and I can’t wait to go back and try more, especially interested in the house made ice cream!

Defiantly make a reservation. This place is small but is amazing. The atmosphere is refreshing and the service was excellent. One person in my party felt that their meat was undercooked and they comped her meal and her wine. Then they gave her something else for free and gave me and my other friend a small salad so the first friend wouldn’t have to eat alone. I highly recommend the sweater weather cocktail.

Trisha!!! Thank you for exceptional service for my boyfriends birthday dinner. The food was so, so delicious- specially the tartar, the bao buns, tuna and wild boar pasta. The wine list could use a few more good choices, so I’d keep with cocktails.

What a delightful dinning experience. Everything about this place was perfect. Their reservation system is super simple and easy to use. A small, inviting restaurant with a staff that truly cares about the entire experience. Our waiter Gabriel was a joy and made the whole dinner fantastic. Drinks were creative and tasty. The appetizers, dinner and even dessert were all a journey of creative flavors. Trust me when I say these dishes were put together for a specific flavor experience, even if you haven’t heard of an ingredient but are curious, just order it. You will not be disappointed.

Fine dining at its best! Very small so reservations are highly recommended. Award winning chef Nicole has put together an amazing menu with dishes that are truly unique. From appetizers to main course and thru desert, the choices are elegantly put together. Farm fresh ingredients, many dishes cooked to order.
My wife has gluten and dairy allergies and the staff is always accommodating. The beer selection is small but always highlighting local brews with delicious choices.
Casual atmosphere, great staff, truly amazing food, at a reasonable price. Absolute 5 star restaurant!!

Definitely a hidden gem! Unassuming on the outside, but such a culinary experience on the inside. I wanted to order the whole menu, it was all so unique! My favorites were the ceviche, the chair siu pork, and the lemon chiffon cake (you _cannot_ skip dessert here). The service was great- they recommended dishes that turned out to be amazing. Also the cocktails were perfectly balanced and very tasty, I would come back here again!

Why would I go anywhere else? We chose Stalk to celebrate my husband’s birthday; it was absolutely perfect from beginning to end. The service was outstanding, the food was amazing and Morgan, the bartender crafted the most perfect drinks. What truly sets Stalk apart is their level of care- I almost lost my glove, and the owner ran out to return it to me. That level of thoughtfulness is rare and unforgettable. We always feel so cared for and appreciated. I am looking forward to the next visit.

Stalk was a great find with terrific food. It’s a small place but has big flavors. Very friendly service and wide ranging menu selections. I had the vegan manicotti and it was delicious for a main and the chicken bons for an app. I have dietary restrictions due to a dairy allergy and had no problems finding things to eat. Will definitely make the 45 minute trip to come here again!
