We’ve dined in and/or done takeout for almost 40 years. Unfortunately this is no longer the Stahley’s that we loved.

Prices have gone up, which is fine, but you still show the old prices on your website, which is dishonest (see screenshot from your website as of today).

Our steak sandwhiches were ordered as “sauce, pickles and onions, with extra sauce on side”, but what we got was pickles and hot peppers on them, but with no onions and no sauce on them, but only sauce on side (see pic). At least it still tasted good.

Their is no pride in packing the food, as shown by the appearance of the pierogies.

And highly recommend you inspect your take-out order before leaving. I was assured everything was there, only to get home and be missing the 3 tossed salads, which I then had to drive back for. At least your bartender was apologetic for that item coming late from the kitchen. But had I known the tossed salads would be as sad and disappointing as they were (see pic), I would have just skipped going back – and to charge $4.25 per salad for these is not appropriate.

Treated myself to a delicious lunch today at Lehigh Valley’s Famous “Stahley’s”‼️ Haven’t been in quite some time, but the Cali Burger & Slaw was great as always, drinks cold & stout, hit the spot. 2 thumbs-up to the Bartenders & Chiefs and a shout out to new ownership, “Keep the joint the same”, it’s a neighborhood staple. Oh Jesus, even one eye ️ Jack stopped in for his usual Good Luck

Went for the first time under new ownership. prices were good and atmosphere was the same.
I normally order the chicken parm with the lovely meat sauce. Unfortunately that is no more.. felt more like diner food now. Please bring back the sauce I loved!!

Been going to Stahleys for years and friends with Daryl Stahley since high school. Hope the new owner continues the great food and service. Only place around where u can still get clams for $5.25 a dozen. Their heavenly haddock is awesome along with their steak sandwiches etc.

Great food and excellent service. The restaurant is nostalgic but could use a bit of alcohol. Honestly, most local people know what to expect concerning the vibe. I love that it’s still family friendly.

I placed a door dash order at 6:13pm for a bowl of soup and a main entree. They didn’t have the main entree, so it was just a bowl of soup. It’s 7:03pm now and im still waiting on a single bowl of soup. How hard is it to grab a ladel and scoop soup into a bowl?? I will never order from here again. Would not recommend anyone eat here.

Stahley’s Cellarette is a sports bar and family restaurant located on Hanover Avenue in Allentown. Now under new ownership, it’s open daily from 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

I grew up on the East Side of Allentown, so I’ve been coming to Stahley’s for as long as I can remember. When I heard it had changed ownership, I was curious to see what, if anything, was different, and whether the food still held up to the Stahley’s I’ve known for years.

Walking through the front door, the interior looked just as I remembered, unchanged and familiar. I really hope they keep it that way.

The menu has been updated, but they’ve kept the steamed clams and cheesesteaks, the dishes I come here for.

The clams haven’t changed a bit, same size, same $5.75 a dozen price, and still served with rich brown butter.

The cheesesteak is also right on par, still served with peppers, pickles, and sauce. My only gripe is the roll, as it didn’t hold up.

I also tried the wings, and they were bigger and better than before. A few more minutes in the fryer, and they would have been perfect.

My friend ordered the grilled chicken Caesar wrap with fries. Since she gets it all the time at Sibri’s, she knew she wouldn’t be disappointed.

The service was solid. We were seated immediately, and our server Sondra took great care of us.

There are a few minor kinks to work out, but I think the new owners are doing a great job so far.

It was dead, the atmosphere was like someone died in there, it was a Sunday but it just felt sad in there. Didn’t eat so not sure about the food, will probably go again just to try the food and maybe go on a day more than 6 people and a screaming kid are in there. The bathroom could use some updating it kind of smelled like many bad nights happened in there. Oh and then the dusty bottles is what I think really got me, when I bartended I would have NEVER let an inch of dust pile up on bottles, pitchers and glasses.

Its Stahleys a local classic for the valley. Swig a beer eat some clams and wings talk to the guy acrosss the bar from you. Play a game if pool listen to the live music or put something on yourself. This place has it down packed. Its consistent it’s inexpensive and its good. When you walk in you realize this isn’t for the yuppies this is a place for a blue collar guy to drink some brews and eat some good food.

Great atmosphere! Stahley’s is a Lehigh Valley staple. Service was stellar. Food was decent. The clams are what they’re known for. Pierogis were really good too. The chicken and mash seemed a bit sparse and overpriced but other than that everything was on point.
