The way they operate their buffet is definitely weird, the staff puts what meats you want on plate for you then you go to vegetable bar and serve yourself. Food is absolutely delicious, first time I’ve ever had beef liver with onions and gravy and it was great, also had the fried chicken and fried pork chops with vegetables and corn bread, dessert was peach cobbler with ice cream. Hands down definitely competes with my mothers cooking ( don’t tell her that please)

I’ve passed this place many times but was finally able to stop in and try their Sunday lunch buffet. My personal favorites were the juicy fried chicken and rice & gravy! The green beans, mac & cheese, and rolls were good too. This brings me to the sautéed cabbage dish. I’ll start by saying that I am a fan of salty foods, and I love cabbage in a variety of ways, but the cabbage was so salty it was inedible. We may have just caught it on a bad day. It won’t deter me from giving them another try, because everything else was good. Their dessert bar was delicious as well.
There was also a gentleman playing live music as well when we arrived who added a nice touch.

The food was good, but the process for getting your food wasn’t very clear. Since this was my first visit, I didn’t realize that some items are self-serve while others are served by staff. I accidentally went to get an item that was meant to be served and was spoken to very sharply by a staff member, which wasn’t a pleasant experience. Clear signage explaining what is self-serve versus staff-served would make things much easier for first-time guests.

This is a tough one. Historically Stagecoach has been a family favorite. My family has always enjoyed it, but this was my first visit. The buffet items are served to you by a staff member. There are two sheets of plexiglass between the two of you and there was a young lady singing live about 15 feet away. We couldn’t hear the server nor could they hear us well. My parents are elderly and this was not a good situation. The food was ok, not great. Our table waitress was very good and friendly. They had fried oysters but there was a limit of 6 per person. I get it, they’re expensive and people tend to waste food…. can’t blame them for that decision. Overall not a bad experience, I would definitely recommend trying it.

The food did not have any flavor not even salt. Did not understand how the buffet worked being you had to stand there where the fish and crab was and wait for someone to serve you t hen you could get your own sides. Dessert was a wait for someone that never came. Wait staff never came back to the table. Everyone working looked under 21.

The employees are always super kind. The food is truly down home southern style cooking. They are constantly keeping the buffet cleaned up. I really do recommend the Buttermilk Pie. The Banana Pudding was great also. I love the Fried Chicken. We will be back again especially for the last ride of the year. This place has been here as long as I can remember. It’s a locals hot spot. I didn’t take any pictures at the buffet because I didn’t want to be rude to the other patrons getting their food. Honestly, I was finished eating when I remembered I forgot to get pictures. It’s worth the drive to have a home style mean.

Gave my family of 5 food poisoning. Told by several people it was a good place to eat. Worse food I have ever eaten. My child is currently in bathroom throwing up so to the nasty food. Waste of time. Waste of the drive there and waste of money.

Hidden gem!! We were on a road trip and I found this place on a Google search. This place could put Cracker Barrel out of business. The building is quaint and plain, but the food is worth posting on social media and telling all your friends about. The vegetables are cooked to Perfection. It’s true Southern Home Cooking. We ate here four days ago, and again today as we passed back through this area. It’s four miles off the interstate but worth finding. Full of locals and older people. The fried chicken, the vegetables, the salad bar, dessert, everything was just incredible. $11 included drink and dessert and tax.
Only negative – very rough, uneven parking lot. Bathroom kind of dirty and grimy.
