This was a pretty good place to eat some breakfast as we travelled through. The food was really good and the service was quick. It smelled a little like cigarette smoke inside which was a bit annoying, but other than that, it was fairly decent.

Food was lovely, I inhaled their chicken fried steak after a 6 hour drive, and my friend loved their burger and fries. My husband couldn’t finish the big portion of delicious fried chicken, which is saying something for him lol. Our server, (Tsreena, maybe it was) was quick and friendly, checked on drinks and if we needed anything else. We all liked the decor and even took pictures of some of the cool stuff, like James the bear. But being from AZ where there is like no indoor smoking anywhere, we all wished there was some more separation of the smoky casino floor and the restaurant itself.

Stopped here as it’s was the last place to eat for hours on our trek back home. I had the BLTA on a croissant with turkey added and a side of fries. Hubby got the Club Sandwich with fries. We enjoyed our sandwiches and I absolutely loved the fries as they were cooked to perfection and I dipped mine in their homemade ranch. The waitress was friendly.

I have been going to Tonopah station since before I could walk. The antiques and unique look had always been my favorite parts about coming here.
As of the last two years, the food and service has taken a dramatic turn for the worst. On average I wait close to 10-20 minutes for someone to take our order. The worst has been up to 35 minutes. (On a day where it was slow.)
The food is a basic diner style food made out of the same few ingredients in different ways. I do have to say several of their items are very good. Unfortunately it is very difficult to get the same quality meal two times in a row. I recommend the Hawaiian melt personally.
Cleanliness….. there isn’t much of that around here. The tile sides next to each booth are ALWAYS filthy. The chairs are usually sticky and on average atleast one piece of your silverware will still be dirty.
I genuinely hope they start to improve because there are very few restaurants here that have the local touch and like some things in our small town, it is a ghost of its past glory.

Good food, friendly and fast service and at a fair price can all be found here at the Stage Stop Cafe. In fact, this is my go to place for breakfast especially if I’m with a big group of friends and they always accommodate us with a smile and are even willing to split our checks. Of course, it doesn’t hurt that they offer some tasty dishes and for me, that would be their corned beef hash and eggs or their taco omelette. Be sure to look around the dining area as there are all kinds of cool historic things hanging on the walls, just like the rest of the casino. Also, be sure to go downstairs to use the restrooms as they have even more stuff there.

Been travelling through Tonopah for Decades. I’ve frequented the little Casino and taken a room for the night. Never really considered the restaurant which is tugged away at one end and perhaps a little cumbersome to access. BUT after last nights FIASKO at the Home Town Pizza ; the leftovers ( almost all of it ) were not an option. for breakfast. Started with The Stage stop because they open early; just had the best mushroom, cheese and bacon omelette made to order with a fine gravy.

I had the sourdough patty melt with French fries. Delicious! Mom had the coconut shrimp dinner, which she really liked as well. My only complaint is the booths were uncomfortable (they were antique!).

Great waffles… And other food! Nice service in a fun old west atmosphere. Very kitchy and fun! There’s a restaurant, a bar and an Inn if you overnight. Very fun with something new to see everywhere you look!

Food was good. We were greeted and seated promptly. However server never came back to check on us after we were served our breakfast. Second server ignored us when we asked for more coffee. With this being said. I would be open to give them one more try. Food was actually good. Props to the cook.
