Stage Stop re-opened in 2019 with new owners, Joe and Nancy. Our focus is creating quality and unique menu items, using mostly natural ingredients, served with great customer service. Quality Soft Service ice cream and gourmet sundaes made with our homemade sauces bring customers from near and afar. Espresso coffees, various lattes, Masala Chai & homemade hot chocolate using Belgian and Ghirardelli quality chocolates are served hot or on ice. Enjoy a cup with a warm pastry made by us. Breakfast Burritos have fast become the town favorite along with our Breakfast Sandwiches, Biscuits & Gravy (made from scratch), Huevos Rancheros & more. All made to order. The food was good, but they had a very small menu and didn’t have enough beef for all of us(a party of 5) to get it as our meat in our burritos and tacos. Then they told my grandfather, who had ordered a vegetarian burrito, that they were out of green chili so he’d have to have his burrito without it or get pork green chili. This was after we had been waiting for our food for 10 minutes. I was disappointed and expect better service by far.

Stage Stop is under new owners and it’s better than ever! My wife and I enjoyed their soft ice cream. Their great location in the heart of downtown Westcliffe is a treat in itself with the Sangre de Cristo mountains in the background.
