What a gem of a pub…beautiful place!! Loved the atmosphere and the owner, Lane, is the nicest gentleman. Oh, and he makes a mean maple bourbon Old Fashioned!! Thanks for your kindness and hospitality, Lane!

Wonderful pub located in an 1850s building. Low key and laid back. Kathie is the best.

Nice atmosphere and fun place to relax. If you are in town and want a welcoming place to grab a beverage, this is a must visit. It’s a historical place worth seeing. The owner is a great guy who makes everyone feel welcomed.

Great place with a lot of history! Cool sign with more history. Thanks to Lane for telling us all about the town and his building. He opened up early for us! Sputnik fest was going on. Derek and Cheryl.

Stumbled upon this little gem on a stroll around town and were well chuffed to find a pub that actually deserves to call itself just that. Friendly, welcoming atmosphere and cozy interior with a fantastic, vintage bar. The owner and his wife are super people and they serve an impressive selection of whiskeys, whiskies and bourbons as well as Smithwick’s and Guinness on draught. If you’re lucky you might even get to meet the “guy who made Eric Idle laugh” and have a great impromptu chat with him about everything and anything. Very highly recommended!

Cozy and intimate atmosphere, a historic house, a few good beers on tap, live acoustic music, and a friendly publican.

Nice place to duck into for if you are at one of the events the city puts on in the library parking lot and you want an hour away from the crushing crowds.

Love this place! Best piano bar and muffalata sandwich. Well, my friend would play piano, I would sing. All kinds of song books. Great drinks. Always made how I like!
