Such a cozy place. It was cold outside, and I just wanted something warm to eat, but ended up finding the perfect spot. I had the tuna sandwich, and it was honestly amazing. The chef even brought it out himself, which made it feel extra special.

Maggie was the sweetest. She smiled the whole time, knew exactly what we needed, and made everything so easy and comfortable. Because of her, I’ll remember this visit for a long time.

Can’t wait to come back again soon. Thank you, Maggie, and happy Halloween

A double Yowzer! Which means really really good. Went for lunch and certainly a great place to go while snowing outside. Greeted by a friendly staff on entry and thanked again when departing. Our server, the incredible Elizabeth, made our luncheon time very comfortable and enjoyable. Our sandwich; the Victor 38 special , was a classic of corn beef, pastrami and coleslaw on a fresh onion roll and of course we had to add crisp, fresh onion rings. Everyone in this restaurant is outgoing and truly wants everyone to have a wonderful experience. Handicap accessible, lots of parking, kid friendly and don’t forget to check out the deli. Great selections of tasty meats, salads and desserts.

Had dinner last night and it was excellent. First the bread and pickles which were all fresh and salads came with plenty of homemade dressing. Main course with two sides order was chicken schnitzel and brisket with gravy, green beans, and kougle. The service and food was outstanding. Great atmosphere too. We really enjoyed the whole experience. Great job Stage Deli. I actually worked in the kitchen as a dishwasher back in high school when they first opened. My first job. Nostalgic place for me.

We ordered the Goldburger Medium Well and received this, and the brisket in my Philly Cheesesteak was tough, a very disappointing dinner for almost $50.

We order 2 deli cut corn beef sandwiches and we got $3 worth of corn beef on the sandwiches. I call to tell them about it and the lady at the desk answer the phone was rude. I told her about the sandwiches & she wants to say corn beef is expensive and I told her our sandwich was also. We paid $16 dollars each. So I told her that cool I didn’t call to argue with her. I will just make a review then she said are you threatening me… I replied saying I didn’t threat you but I’m gonna make a review. Don’t order a cornbeef to go without checking it out … you will get cheated out of the meat

August 2024 visit- if I could afford to eat here weekly, I would. We used to visit once a month, but the cost has become too much for us to afford that so we try to get here every 3-4 months-

We’ve never had a bad meal. It’s one of the few places that has excellent service and the quality of the food is excellent. Yes, it is very pricey but I appreciate that for the price I get a high quality meal with great service. There aren’t very many restaurants that offer this.

My husband and I split a corned beef with Swiss, grilled and the Maurice salad- $44 I swear years ago (10-15 years ago) they used to give you a much larger portion of corned beef than what they do now- I wish the salad was a bit larger portion and that they would remove all the core. We requested it chopped, but they didn’t seem to chop the lettuce as we found chunks of core. The bread from the basket was so fresh and delicious.

Lauren was our waitress and she was great! Attentive without being annoying.

Probably closer to 4.5 stars: Excellent service and atmosphere & generally satisfied with the food. Their specialty seems to be corned beef and pastrami – the sandwich was good, but could use more flavor imo. Ice coffee was pretty mild which I liked a lot but others may think of it as too watered down.

Spacious & Loved the interior. Variety of dish to choose from. Appreciated the kid friendliness. It would be a perfect place for brunch if you are in the area.
Def be my top choice for local brunch meetings.

Nice fresh food. Good service. Great atmosphere every time we go. It’s always packed and the waiting line is usually long. Deli style type of food. They also have Jewish inspired meals and desserts. There is a restaurant side and a takeout deli side. The staff at the take out side appear stressed most times we visit.
Bathrooms are clean.

2025 visit
I just wanted to share my wonderful experience at Stage Deli during my visit today! We’ve been there multiple times, but this was the first time we had the pleasure of being served by Olivia.

Olivia was not only incredibly kind and friendly, but she also had a lovely smile that brightened our meal. Her knowledge of the menu, especially concerning gluten-free options, was impressive. She herself follows a gluten-free diet, which made her recommendations even more valuable!

What I appreciated most was her prompt service and her effort to check on us regularly, all while maintaining a positive attitude. It truly enhanced our dining experience.

I highly recommend that the next time you visit Stage Deli, you ask for Olivia. She definitely adds a special touch to the meal.

Stage Deli has been a longtime favorite of our family. We visited or ordered carryout weekly. Quite expensive, but we loved the food. That changed after my husband suffered a severe food poisoning for five days following a carryout order where he was almost needed to be admitted to hospital. I called the restaurant to inform management, not looking for compensation of any kind, but simply to share the experience so no other customer deals with such a horrific trama. The response was extremely defensive rather than apologetic. The manager took my name and number and assured me he would follow up, but no phone call was ever received. Due to both the incident and a complete lack of accountability, we will not be returning, and based on their actions I’m confident our decision to no longer return will be of little concern. Awful customer service.

Wow, what a find! We met long lost friends here, a halfway meeting point between our homes. We met at 1pm Sunday. It was busy, but we got a window table right away. (Theres outdoor seating too). We were all super impressed with the extensive menu; something for everyone. Multiple soups and salads with European flair — matzo, borsch, to name a few. Many sandwiches, in addition to small plates, dinners, and yummy desserts. Two of us chose the Russian Rueben, one the Rueben, and the other a dinner plate of chicken livers with mashed potatoes and gravy (just like his grandmother used to prepare!). The food was terrific and the portions generous. I appreciate the choice of how much meat in the sandwich—regular and large, which is 3 Oz more, the availability of GF rye bread, good coffee, and a generous serving of slaw (enough for two!). Thank you. We will be back!
