A slight bit pricey, but isn’t everything these days. We heard a lot about it, so did the drive. My steak was PERFECT. The boneless wings were a bit hard, but delicious. Waitress was awesome. Big place, seems to get a lot of traffic, will return.

New owner, rough crowd making the food. Overpriced and undercooked for the food I received. Almost $30 for the meal I ordered. Won’t be back! Will lose the regulars. That’s why the price is so high to compensate for the loss they are going to get. Condiment containers i.e. ketchup, mustard was absolutely filthy. Would not suggest touching them. Beware

Overall a good experience. Went on a Saturday soon after they opened so it was just us and a few others. Service was kind and quick, and our food was out extremely fast as well.

I was searching for someplace to eat on my backroads travels and they popped up. I wanted as small town, ma and pa place. This is it! What a beautiful town. It’s like being in Mayberry! I’d go back in a heartbeat! I’m sorry I was by myself and couldn’t share the experience. Except with you.

Extremely disappointed. I came in with my daughter for dinner. I was really excited after hearing such great things. A girl came and got our bottles of tea for us and said someone else will be over. After maybe 15 minutes nobody came and another table came in and the waitress who got out drink order went over and got that tables drinks and came back and then got there food order while we still sitting there waiting. Not even a one more moment sorry. Nothing I put my $7 on the table for the drinks and left. Seriously.

Awesome staff, with friendly service! Absolutely amazing food, with fantastic prices. The philly is probably the best steak sandwich in central Illinois! Not to mention the other tastey food on the menu! You want great food from a cleanly kept environment with great staff, the Stag is where it’s at! A+Food A+Service
