Food was fabulous!
Atmosphere was so peaceful and beautiful!
Service could improve to make it an amazing top notch experience!
When we walked in for our reservation we had to stand there for a bit as no one was at the host stand to greet us.
We waited a very long time before anyone came to our table and my water never got refilled. We didn’t mind the 2 1/2 hour experience but wished we were attended to more frequently. Great place however!

The dishes were all amazing. You don’t expect to find lobster focused options in N. Texas but they really hit it out of the park.
The bisque was fantastic, and the lobster Mac and cheese was the most rich dish I have had in a while…definitely split it! The lobster roll was perfect sized, just don’t walk in thinking a New England roll and you will be fine…it’s not that. The steak appetizer was great, there are three pieces so plan accordingly.
The wine list is always solid, the bubble bar was heaven for my wife, all of the drinks on that list were great.
We are looking forward to coming back! Thanks Jessica for the amazing service!!

What a lovely experience we had! We expected it to be busy, it was Valentine’s Day. But we were never neglected by our wonderful server, Brandon. The food was great; I had the red fish, my husband had the pork chop. And the process were not unreasonable. We will definitely be going again.

This was our second time here, overall it’s a nice place. Fine dinning atmosphere with a more laid-back vibe. This is not. IMO, a quick bite to eat place. It’s a come here order a drink, some food and relax. We order heavy appetizers and couple of drinks each. The entrees are pricey and steaks are a la carte with the sides being way over priced. We had the Stuffed Mushrooms and Steak Carpaccio, both were so good. Mushrooms are stuff with chicken and other good stuff. The steak was very thinly sliced and so very good. We did order the spinach strawberry salad and while it was ok, I wish we had just ordered another appetizer. Drinks were good. Our server Aaron was fantastic, very engaging and we really enjoyed talking with him. This is definitely a great place to just enjoy an afternoon or evening.

So much fun here they are always so nice the food is amazing. They have comfy cozy couch section and some nice chairs to lounge in or tables. I love to have a place like this close to home. Atmosphere is insanely romantic. The fingerling potatoes and the steak sandwich and house salad. So freakin good. Definitely will be coming back. They also have some good whiskeys like Elijah and they have beer my fave is Dos Equis. Also amazing selection of all kinds of imported wines.

Jessica was absolutely wonderful! Even while managing several reservations at once, she stayed calm, personable, and attentive. She was so easy to talk to and genuinely cared about her customers — you could tell she truly enjoys what she does. Her menu recommendations were spot on, and she made sure to check back to see how everything tasted.
The restaurant itself is a hidden gem in Denison — great atmosphere, delicious food, and outstanding service. I’m already looking forward to going back!

We visited Stafford House and unfortunately the experience wasn’t what we expected. We had a drink and appetiser, and the server was direct to the point of being rude. She never came back around to see if we needed another drink as we sat with empty glasses.
After waiting and being ignored, we decided to finish the drink we had and leave. The atmosphere itself is nice, but the service definitely needs improvement.

I had the pleasure of dining here a week or so ago with a friend of mine that lives in Sherman. This is an incredible dining experience. I live in the Dallas area and I would put the service, atmosphere and food up against any fine dining establishment. If you are not from Sherman/Denison, it’s worth the drive!

While the service was great and the steak s were amazing. The sides were way overpriced for what you get. We ordered wild mushrooms and we literally got two mushrooms sliced into pieces for $13. The cocktails were okay, however they do not have a water purification system on either their ice or their water. So the ice cubes as you see in my pictures are pure White taste. Horrible and eye cuffs. They serve water in again in the pictures is the same cups that I got at Shakey’s Pizza when I was a kid. They’re plastic and the ice they use is the same white terrible ice with tap water that they served in their overpriced cocktails.
All in all we spent almost $400 for three people and I could have many other ways for better use of that money. Better food and overall a better experience!
